Questions and Suggestions please...

So.... I have been in a terrible book slump for quite a while. I will read a few books get really into it and then I'll get to a book that will totally discourage me from reading.

I think I want to try another genre but still keeping with the strong alpha and steamy scenes, I really liked the following books with a bit of a different theme, and the whole . I want to try something along those lines. I'm not much into vampires and werewolves.

I welcome any and all suggestions. I am looking to broaden my horizons and try something new to get me over this huge hump.

Not sure what you would like and I don't know how to post cover of books but I LOVED Jodi Ellen Malpas' This Man series. Check it out. If you enjoy, I would be happy to recommend more or just check out my shelves/reviews.
Don't get discouraged. I too come across lemons sometimes but I just take a few days off from reading and dive back in.
