There is a book that I remember reading a while ago but don't remember the name of. I am pretty sure that it is in a series and the name was something along the lines of 'The - Game'. I am pretty sure that the cover of the version I had was silver or gold.

In it there were 26 characters who had been training all their lives for when the apocalypse occured, it did and then they all set out through the wilderness to find a key. Each of them was a part of a tribe and only the tribe that got the key would survive. I don't remember the main character's name but there was someone called Christopher and someone called Markus and someone called Sara or Sarah.

Is "a while ago" six months? 10 years? 30 years? Is this YA or adult?

I read the book around 6 months ago although it may have been published any time in the past 10 years, and I think it was YA.
