Read-a-Thon #2 - Team Lemon Discussion Topic
For my recommendation I will add Watchers by Dean Koontz. Its an older book but I didn't read it until last years challenge. It is one of my mom's favorite books and now one of mine! Its a little long but I flew through it!!
I read well today!- read 31% for my AtY book. I think the story is happening during summer but no time confirmation yet (they're 16yo, wear t-shirts and are on holidays).
- reached 50% for the novella.
- read 10% of the red cover. Flowers for Algernon is really interesting :)
- listened 45min of audio.
I started The Rock Star's daughter last night for the book set in summer and I'm 35% in. I'm confident I will be able to finish it in time! 107 pages read according to my kindle. I will update the spreadsheet.

I finished The icebound land today. As far as I can see B1 is finished. I don't know if my book should be used to finish B4 - the fantasy book?
Great Heather, have you written down your book in the spreadsheet?Sam, for B1 we can only use 2 books per member, is there one you read for ATY that we could transfer to B3?
JoJo, does the case with your name contain one or several books? If the latter, I have the same question as for Sam.
I see that several categories could be marked as done, I'm going to look at all this tonight and see if we could do it now instead of later.
Sophie wrote: "Sam, for B1 we can only use 2 books per member, is there one you read for ATY that we could transfer to B3?"Edit - I didn't realize I alread had a book in B3. Will delete it from B1. I also added this book to the Group Reading Map - can both be done?
Thanks! Yes, B3 has a yellow stars and I5 a pink/red star, so you can use it for both!Since you added The Optimist's Daughter to the map, I removed it from the female author and the article in the title (we have a lot of those), ok for you?
I just spend another afternoon outside and read for an hour. I haven't updated the total for the group, but after my calculation it should be 5hr 35min. So we're just about finished with N2 :-)

Sounds great - thank you!
I will be finishing Little Women today for sure! I have less than 100 pages to go and then will be starting Assassination Classroom Vol. 2 tonight and maybe Poison Princess right after.
I spent half an hour on my terrasse listening to my audiobook while painting my toe nails, do you think it counts as reading outside?
I finished my first book of the week: Het Dolende Schip it can count for a lot of prompts.I read it for the ATY so I added it there in the spreadsheet, for the prompt we can see where we can use it best.
I finished The Rock Stars Daughter - a book set in summer. I've updated the spreadsheet for the number of pages, 1 book read and blackened the book read in summer. Can it also count as a book towards ATY? I read it for a book that starts with the letter of my name (Rebecca)Edited to say - I see, I can add it either for the 5 for the ATY challenge or 10 for read 10 books or I could add the locations to the map. Any preference for where it goes?
I've finished Remember Jamie Baker and will be starting Mermaid. Just curious, where is everyone located? I feel like I'm on a completely different time schedule from everyone else.

I'm in Canberra, Australia
I've spent an hour listening to an audio book. I discovered The Chamber of Secrets audio book with Stephen Fry reading. I'm loving it, I'm reading along with my own copy, it's like someone's reading to me :) Maybe I will start listening to audio books more.

You can't add it to the map and to the book set in summer, since we lack of the latter, I suggest we keep it here.
However, it can definitely count for ATY! One more to go and we finish B3!

I'm in Switzerland (GMT+1)

I listened to the entire series last year narrated by Stephen Fry, it is amazing!

I'm from Denmark... Just starting the day :-)
I read quit a lot in All the light we cannot see yesterday, but didn't update my total on the spreedsheat. I'll do it later today.
What about our lost member Jill?
Sam, I suggest we put The Last Valley on G2 so we can finish this category (and we have plenty of books with articles for O4.
I got so excited when seeing that we could have BINGO for the G that I shuffled books around, I hope you don't mind. Here's a recap for this letter:
G1: Lieke - Lorien Legacies
G2: Zaz - Unstrung, Lieke - The Fugitive (Lorien Legacies), Sam - The Long Valley
G3: 6 hours read outside by Sam, Keri, Sophie, Lieke, Marina and Zaz
G4: Zaz - The Problem with Forever, Keri - After You, Nicole - Cursed Child
G5: this is the 132 post, we largely exceeded the number

Haha Sophie, copy-paste doesn't work, it's crazy, so I create one new each time. I did a new row for G so there are some smileys available to check future squares :)I'm in France (Europe) and work so I update at lunch and in the evening.
Edit: I sent the link to the topic to Jill.
Sophie wrote: "Sam, I suggest we put The Last Valley on G2 so we can finish this category (and we have plenty of books with articles for O4."Sounds great! Fantastic that we've finished a row already. If there is anything else needed, let me know. (I'm from Canada).
I just updated my reading from yesterday and we are now done with O1 and the total of 4000 pages. I've edited the table and put a smiley on top :-)
I just finished reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I was going to put it under A one-word title, but it can also be used for the female author. Frankenstein is a ATY book
Yay we rock! I added The Forgotten Garden to the group map, so we just miss one more to go BINGO on the I! :DI planned to read
for the green cover, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to finish it. Do you think
is green enough to work?
I'm planning on finishing The last kingdom today and add it to the map, so we can use that one to finish I :-)
If we use Marina - The icebound land for B4, my book Het dolende schip for I3 and the two books left in B5 for that prompt they are finished too :)
So if I see it correctly, doing what I said in message 146 and adding JoJo's Frankenstein to B2 and B3 (message 141)We only need the following:
B1: 2 books
I1: do all the new games
I2: 1 Graphic novel/manga
I4: 1 book set in summer
I5: 1 mystery/thriller
N1: red, orange, blue and green cover
N3: recommendation by Jill
O5: 1 book on the ATY reading map
