Melissa (ladybug) | 1048 comments Our choices for the last stop on our itinerary is:

1. Spell-it-out (Entebbe, Uganda)
2. Detour: Read a book where a character is a brainiac
3. Read a book set in the country or by an author from that country.

I vote for spell it out. :)

message 282: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 461 comments There, so we definitely have spelled this. I'll look back at the previous posts , post 262, and make sure this post matches, and I will also add this to the correct tab in the spreadsheet.

If the book listed above isn't in baggage, I will put it in baggage and highlight it as used. However, I am not going back through all of the posts and adding other books to baggage.

I'll research to see if I can figure out how to report a completed task.

This is our last scheduled task. Does anyone know what comes next?

message 283: by Eunice (new)

Eunice | 666 comments Umm, report that you're done and then we decide if we still want to take another trip, I think.

message 284: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 461 comments I updated the Entebbe tab.

I added the books I used that weren't in baggage to the baggage.
I marked all books used in pink.

I attempted to update the tracking sheet but I'm not sure I did it correctly. Specifically, R10 -- we get points for both 6 players and 8 players?

Eunice - -I don't know where to report. Can you do the reporting?

message 285: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4262 comments Thanks for all your work on this thread

message 286: by Eunice (new)

Eunice | 666 comments I also don't know how, isn't there a thread for leaders to post? I just don't know where.

message 287: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) Yeah, thank you! :)

message 288: by Melissa (ladybug) (new)

Melissa (ladybug) | 1048 comments I will take care of reporting it. :)

message 289: by Melissa (ladybug) (new)

Melissa (ladybug) | 1048 comments Thank you for updating the spreadsheet. I am sorry, but I became overwhelmed by many things happening last two weeks or so and had no time to do it.

@Susan I was just keeping track of the points as we got them. We had all members read at least 1 book, so we got 35 points

message 290: by Melissa (ladybug) (new)

Melissa (ladybug) | 1048 comments I have reported it.

To report it, the Captain sends a message to NBRC Travel Agent

I wasn't voted captain but seemed to fall into that role. I am sorry if I have upset anyone.

message 291: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 461 comments I appreciate all of the work you do for this challenge. I figured figured you had real life stuff to get done.

message 292: by Sam (new)

Sam | 1663 comments So now what happens?

message 293: by Melissa (ladybug) (new)

Melissa (ladybug) | 1048 comments I really don't know. :( I contacted the NBRC travel agent and asked them what we do now, but they haven't gotten back to me. I personally would love to continue the journey around the world with this great group.

Roger - president of NBR United - (roger_presidentofnbrunited) | 612 comments hopefully we go on with another travel?

Roger - president of NBR United - (roger_presidentofnbrunited) | 612 comments Sorry got crazy with bingo and scavenger hunt

message 296: by NBRC Travel Agent (new)

NBRC Travel Agent | 368 comments Your business class itinerary has been added to your spreadsheet! :)

message 297: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4262 comments Our first stop is Porto, Portugal. I vote for spell it out since the detour is about sports.

I recently read The Dream-Quest of Vellitt Boe by Kij Johnson

Charecters: Vellitt Boel, Clarie Jurat, Randolph Carter

message 298: by Jarvis (new)

Jarvis Hey guys. Sorry for being inactive for some time. I have fallen into a slump and haven't read much for a while now. Not sure whether I can join again.
I will definitely join as a hitchhiker if that's fine with you guys. :-)

message 299: by Susan A (new)

Susan A | 461 comments I haven't added my books to baggage since Oct 26. Yikes. I have 35 books to add. I'll try to get to it tonight.

Question --

We have so many books in baggage -- do we want to see how far we can spell out the itinerary to use up the books?

message 300: by Sam (new)

Sam | 1663 comments I personally don't want to because then all the books will fall on the faster readers and there will be nothing left for the rest of us to do. I like having to pick a book and read it now for this challenge.
