Just checking but is it only the graphic novels/poetry books/illustrated books for 0.25 pts or including regular books 25-50 pages?

To double check, I have 2 books that I started at the end of august but will be finishing in Sept.

Do I only count the pages that I read in September when claiming it?
or can I not use the books at all.

I want to make sure I do this right :)

So, I am reading a book that has like 200 pages, but one of the really foreign editions has like 1,200 pages. Is this too much of a stretch, or can I still use that edition?

@Alley While I'm not sure what Sarah is gonna say, just remember that 6 points is max per book :) that's not including the double points from BRs. With a BR, the max would be 12

Of course. I just don't want to put the 1,200 down if it's not okay when all but this one and one at 500 are listed at like 200.

I have to ask.... am I the only one that feels like I'm doing something wrong only posting a review on one thread? MMC has me confused on how things work now that we are back to a regular challenge. LOL

If its this book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... then i think that's actually 1 for the edition, and then the page count is 238 pages, there is an edition with 624 pages which you could use for maximum points though https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... ☺

It took me ages to get out of the habit of posting reviews on a thread. I used to do it automatically every time i wrote a review! Must seem a lot calmer after the MMC ☺

Can I count the number of pages in my format of eBook, even if it's not the same on goodreads? For example, there are 227 pages of on goodreads in both eBook and Kindle, but I had a pdf version from the author, which had 249 pages (243 if excluding the cover, dedication, acknowledgements, etc.) So can I use my version for the page count?

It's not necessary, you're going to get 2 points for any of the editions.

We can only use the page count on goodreads or amazon, or if its listed on a publishers website we can use that. It won't matter in this challenge though as both page counts would earn you 2 points ☺
