VampAmber wrote: "I didn't get paired up with anybody."I apologize, VampAmber. Homeschooling my son started yesterday and I must have overlooked it when I made up the pairs list. I was extremely stressed yesterday!
I'll pick the Sookie Stackhouse series for you, and if we need someone to do repicks for others, you will be the first person I ask to do a repick.
It looks like the person who was supposed to pick for me deleted her comment. I may need someone to pick for me.

No worries. I figured it was an accident, since I was on the participants list. And I have the next Sookie Stackhouse book from the library already, so that'll help.

No worries...I understand! I am going to go with Trea's pick though I appreciate you trying to get it in.

Plus, you'll be able to see what I've thought of some of the other books! The thread is HERE.

Yeah, I've read a few of them and haven't enjoyed them much!
☘KathyD☘ wrote: "that's a bummer...i'm working through the huntress books before i delve any deeper"According to the Night Huntress Universe page, the first of the Night Prince books should come after book 6/6.5. However, it looks like it is a serial, and I hate serials, so I'm not even bothering with the Night Prince series.
well, i plan on reading according to the night huntress series....so my books for that are...This Side of the Grave
One Grave at a Time
Home for the Holidays
Up From the Grave
Outtakes from the Grave (if i get to it or i'll read it a little bit throughout the month)

I was reading the entire Universe, which is the Night Huntress books, Night Huntress World, and the Night Prince series, all mashed together into a chronological order. I didn't like the Night Huntress World books, and I'm bound and determined that I will finish the Night Huntress series, but looking at the Night Prince books, I'm thinking I won't be missing much if I don't read them.
i saw there were books that were offshoots, but i try to stick with a series and read it in order...sometimes it works, other times i have to read between multiple series...so far i'm good with reading just the night huntress books!
I have finished my series for this month, Wisteria Tearoom, with books 4
and book 5
and give both books a 5 star rating. I wish the author had dealt better with the depression the MC suffers in book 4, but not everyone understands the truth of this debilitating disease. Still, the books are wonderful, and really great reads, as is the entire series. It's one I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a good mystery series. Can't wait to see what Greenwood comes up with in the next book!
I've read these so far:
Have left to read:
Hannah: Bride of Iowa
Leora: Bride of California
Trinity: Bride of West Virginia
Poppy: Bride of Alaska
Thanks for the pick, Joanne - is from Canada!!
Drums of Autumn|Diana Gabaldon 9-7-2016 | 5*Maybe it's just me, but when I finish an Outlander Series book, I can't really think straight for a while!?! There are so many things I want to talk about, but I struggle just to put my thoughts in order. I can't stop reading and I can feel everything that's happening in my chest the entire time I am reading!! LOVE HER!!!
Ezi ~ I finished my 2 for ARCO this month. Thanks for the pick!
4♥ - I thoroughly enjoyed Wyatt and Faith's book.
3♥ - I was enjoying this book until Devlin put himself where he didn't belong and then Trance became a moron. The rest of the series I don't own in ebook form ~ the next two are avail from the library in dead tree form so I will get to them over the next few months
BTW - I blew through 3 New Species this month and still may get to Brawn (#5)
