Hi everyone! I'm trying to remember the name and Author of a book I read about 10 years ago. It is the first book in a trilogy. The book is about a priest who is given instructions by st. Peter who tells him he must kill a woman, he is quite awful to her but eventually falls in love with her. There is a young girl who also talk to st. Peter who is destined to become Joan of Arc. The priest is very jealous of her... The author is a woman... There are sneaky demons also. Thanks :)
