*fist bump*
My personal experience with book review blogs thus far:
https://etherealpages.wordpress.com
http://www.tdcbookreviews.com
http://fullofbooks.com
Honestly, I kinda got reviewed by these 'accidentally'. Like, I've never looked up book bloggers. But that's on the top of my to-do list now. Just saying.
Hugs,
Ann

There is also a group on Goodreads that helps writers get reviews by "paying it forward" and reviewing other people:
https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...
- it is carefully organized so that no-one does reciprocal reviews (which are not a good idea in my opinion, and Goodreads and Amazon don't like them either).

And totes agree on reciprocal reviews. GR frowns. Amazon (sometimes) pulls them. Plus, they feel really icky to me. Just me, though. I ain't judging other people's ickiness ^_~

Annie, it is amazing that you got blogged by book reviewers without even submitting!
I just love book bloggers. They do a great service for us authors :).

I should clarify, though, that Catherine (Ethereal Pages) picked up an R2R copy I offered. I just didn't realize she was actually a blogger *shrugs*

My review policy is here.
I am currently scheduling reviews about a month out due to current commitments and book load.
(If this isn't the right place to add me, I'll be happy to delete and post elsewhere :D )

Thanks for turning yourself in -:) Your blog is perfectly relevant to this thread and I'm sure many authors out here would be glad to contact you.
Others should feel encouraged to announce their presence fearing no punishment but rather a loud applause -:)
Hope you'll enjoy and contribute!

Don't forget to check out our Author Resources spreadsheet! : ) It has a ton of info, including promo sites:

Some hints, from experience:
Different reviewers want different genres, and they want them in different formats; moreover some might not be accepting books for review at a given time. Some never do (I review quite a few indie books myself, but I don't encourage submissions). There is almost always info on this on their blog - look for either "Review policy", "Submissions" or under "Contact me".
Some reviewers upload to Goodreads and Amazon as well as their own blogs but some don't bother.
The quality of the reviewers obviously varies and it's good to look at some of their reviews to see what you can expect. I have had some lovely reviews for my own books, but also the odd stinker.
Hope this helps, everyone - would be interested to hear of other people's experiences too.
