Also later in the book it showed remnants of things from the past like a bombed out castle, a chest of jewels underground and a destroyed cites. and the whole books takes place in one spot slowly changing over time from different eras of time

It was a huge book like most my long pages so you could see the whole scene it was set on earth I think i was hard back
And also in each scene it would have a description of what each person was doing
