My second novel is a bit ... spicier and a bit more suspenseful, but also funny and plot-twisting, Companions by Contract.
Its description is
It was an unorthodox contract. And those can prove deadly.
Craig North, the charismatic, wealthy managing partner of a prestigious Chicago law firm, seeks to hire a companion to provide him with platonic, pleasant camaraderie–and, as he repeatedly assures both his colleagues and himself, nothing more. So he is delighted when the refined and lovely law student Rebecca Bellow applied for the job.
With an executed contract explicitly prohibiting any form of romance between them, Rebecca happily settles into her private, beautiful apartment in North's Georgian mansion, even finding a Mercedes at her disposal.
And as the friendship between “employer” and “companion” warms over elegant dinners, animated conversations, and old movies, both think:

No problem. Pam has written some great reviews that have enticed me to read so many books, this was the least that I could do for her and any reader that would like to have credit for their reviews that are an aid and gold to indie authors.

Here is a 2 star review of West Quarry Farm that has been posted on amazon on March 25th by P Blevins: "West Quarry Farm is by James Sillwood. It seems to be a well-written book and the characters are certain realistic. However, I was unable to read this book simply because it scared me to death and I didn’t even get half-way through it. I am a chicken when it comes to psychological suspense. If you are into this type of book, it is a good one."

It is obvious from her review that P Blevins has not read this book beyond the first chapter. She also states in a comment below the review that she had contacted me prior to posting this review. I have not heard from her and was not aware that she was reviewing my book. I therefore request that she removes this review as it is totally misleading to potential readers and unacceptable.

I suggest you email a moderator directly about this review. Sacha responds fast as well as the rest.
I did not get this book from Goodreads nor did I post a review here. Therefore, James' comments are not acceptable here. I did indeed attempt to contact James but evidently it did not go through. I did not remove the review from Amazon; but did revise it. It is an honest review and I want to point out that I definitely stated I did not finish the book and that it was well-written and realistic. It was just too realistic for me and it scared the daylights out of me. I had previously read one of his books and took a chance on this one when I saw it on Amazon.
