Sure thing...

So this is a progressive zombie apocalypse rp - progressive in the sense that the apocalypse is still yet to happen and we'll be working through from the early pre-virus stages, all the way to complete world-wide decimation...essentially.

Thus far there's only been murmurings of a virus in the city of Chicago which a fair bit away from the RP setting of Washington State and most notable the city of Seattle. Now this RP takes a lot from the Walking Dead when it comes to the actual zombies. Everyone is infected, but it's only through death that people actually become zombies. The infection is what causes people to reanimate when they die, so even though a zombie bite will kill them, it's actually the viral infection that causes them to turn when they die. The viral infection may manifests as a cold/flu type illness in some people, but doesn't actually kill them. Only a bite will do that.

We're looking to have some of the first bits of zombie action come into play within a week in RP time. Currently everyone is going about their daily lives, and the characters we have are already established in their own little environments/settings. Some of us have already put together plans for the inevitable outbreak, certain groups that will form, plans for characters to meet/split up etc...we're looking to have a big quarantine zone set up after the initial outbreak which will be a big central point for all characters to group together.

Thus far most of the rp seems to be revolving around the city and the college - Central Washington Uni, but we're also setting up a countryside rp folder and will later probably put in threads for the Canadian border as that feels like an obvious escape route...

Her parents I've decided are super protective over Allie because her sister was killed in a drunk driving accident when she was seventeen. Allie was really young at the time and has grown up in this strict little bubble ever since
