The climate can affect the rate of decomp. for the zombies js
Georgia, being a southern state, is likely warmer than Pennsylvania, which will speed up the decomposition of the zombies.

That's true very true and Pennsylvania has everything we could want? There's some forests and cities, mountain range and coastline?

He's very attractive, but in the Walking Dead he is terrifying

Granted I don't like werewolf characters what so ever I probably wouldn't join the group myself xD But it probably would go somewhere~ Lots of people like the school kinda rps.
Oh yeah xD But he is such a badass villain in the Walking Dead though that I am okay with it. I was enjoying the whole episode with him, Judith, and Carl. xD
He's a fantastic actor, to be able to make an audience that uncomfortable but still be a thoroughly likeable character it's amazing aha
I am just so excited to see what happens, honestly. Negan is a strong character but now the group is slowly gaining back it's confidence so the conflicts are gonna be amazing.
Honestly though I could care less about Morgan and Carol though atm

Yeah, it does!
Yeah, it does!

Shall we start making some rp threads?"
PENN FTW (yes i switched sides but its all cool, as long as there's a place amirite? )"
Hells yes! So what do we want? Need to compile a list really...
I'm thinking;
We centre most of the action around Philadelphia, and then we can have other locations around there and maybe a bit further away as people start to escape etc?
So..in Philly?
- High School
- Hospital
- City Hall
- Park (Fairmount maybe?)
- Radio Station
- Supermarket
- Restaurants
- Bars
- Office Buildings
- Quarantine Locations?
- Military Locations?
- Theatre
- News Station
- Fire Station
- Police Station
- Church
- Factory
- Metro
Penn State for our Uni kids?
I feel like this can be a separate folder because it's huge?
A rural county (help? I don't know any..) where we can have farms, small village shops that sort of thing...
National Parks
Then maybe we can throw in Pittsburgh?
And somewhere on the coast?
And more?

Depends for Penn State. It has satellite campuses all over the state. If you do the city, there's several universities like Drexel ( whoop dragons! ) UPenn in University City. Plus Villanova and Temple.
The Roxy Theatre is a big name.
There are also a whole lot of clubs in the city.
Lancaster is pretty rural!
West Catholic is a pretty notable high school; my older brother went there! Our Lady is all-girls.
Penn has hospitals and labs open to the public. CHOP is big.
The subway connects to suburban areas so it spreads pretty far out.
The shipping yard may still have functional factories. Plus there's a Dave + Busters nearby.
Churches are everywhere in the city.
We don't have Pathmark anymore, but Pricerite, Shoprite, a few Fresh Grocers, specialty stores for ethnic products, Walmart, Aldi, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, etc.
Fairmount Park would prolly be a good idea. Plus Love Park, which is pretty scenic and a big tourist spot.

Ah wow! Thanks Fie!! Lots of info!
I feel like we can afford to be fairly generic with shops and schools and stuff, but it might be nice to have a couple of named places too
Do you want to tackle the Uni folder? I feel like you're probably best qualified to make those threads?
Oooh and where are our family from? I'm thinking Dad was born in Pittsburgh, went to Uni, met Mom and settled in Philly for work/family? Do they live in the city or in the suburbs?

The city is expensive to live in if you wanna be in the good parts. Like, really. Suburbs might push you out to like my area or Newtown Square--which is still fairly expensive because there's a gated community that a lot of the wealthy people moved to when the high school I went to moved.
Also, Wawa!!!!! Greatest convenience store known to man.
And RITA'S IN THE SUMMER HOT DAMN
Chinatown, Koreatown!!!

The outside is nice
But some of the buildings are shit inside. We're actually reading one
Plus Towers, one of the newer dorms, is gradually leaning with each year

And I might create a fictional high school, just in case anyone who joins actually goes to one of the real ones ...it's may be a tad too personal lol
