and Chapter 20(view spoiler)[ He hurt her again, but I kind of see how she is getting sucked back in. He has issues. I don't know...but I thought it was creepy when she came to and he kept insisting that she "fell" down the stairs...but at the same time she did promise to leave him if he ever hurt her again and I'm still waiting to see if there is any fall out from Atlas receiving the phonecall (even if it just went to voicemail) surely he will figure out she called and be worried??. Chapter 25 (view spoiler)[ Pregnant??? Maybe she and Atlas can raise the baby together and Ryle can go off and be the best neurosurgeon in another city, but that would be wrapped to nicely for Colleen Hoover, it has to get grittier than that...but one can hope, right? And that Letter to Ellen, "Naked truth: I'm in love with a man who physically hurts me." Wow. And of course when she woke up the chair was facing her, Atlas had to make sure she was safe...

Finished (view spoiler)[ so I have to say that I agree that the phrase "it Ends with Us" was surprising in the context of the story. Colleen is such a great writer at the end, I was kind of hoping that Ryle would change and she would take him back, but I am so so so glad that Lily loved Ryle and Emerson both enough that she didn't want to risk her daughter ever seeing him that way. Plus she got to end up with Atlas, so everyone wins! (hide spoiler)]

Absolutely!! She is the only author I follow on Facebook and Instagram and I love her posts. She's so funny and down to earth. My daughter follows her too and if she sees a funny or good post, she will text me saying "did you see Colleen's latest post?" or she will screen shot it and texted to me. I love that the two of us share "CoHo" love! I couldn't wait to tell her about your private message. She was so excited when I told her. She hasn't read "It Ends with Us" yet. She is a paperback reader and I ordered it for her it's coming in tomorrow.

I think it's an amazing book so far. I'm happy that I didn't read the sypnosis or any spoiler free reviews before hand. The only thing I find confusing at times is the amount of time that goes between chapters at times.

I finished this book this afternoon and I really don't know how I should feel.

(view spoiler)[ Wow the last few chapters were intense. Especially when she went into labor and right after the baby was born. To be honest I'm still not sure how to feel about Ryle. Part of me feels bad and wants to love him and part of me dislikes him. I thought it was very brave that she chose her daughter in the end. I also loved how Alyssa responded when Lily told her everything. Even though Ryle is her brother she was there for Lily. (hide spoiler)]

I completely understand, Ryle was(view spoiler)[ the man I wanted her to end up with. I kept hoping that it was all a lie and he didn't have this violent way about him. It still kills me she didn't end up with him, but she couldn't. I wouldn't have wanted her to stay in that situation. That really shows the amazing writing, because a part of me loves Ryle, I even feel bad for him but there's was only one ending and we got it. Plus Atlas was the better man!!! Totally agree! (view spoiler)[Especially because I actually liked Ryle more than Atlas. But his problems outweighed the good in the end. I just felt like Atlas was this person she held high, but didn't really know. I mean, he was obviously a good guy. (hide spoiler)]

I totally understand (view spoiler)[My feelings for Ryle were compassion, empathy, I felt really sad for him. He loved Lily so much and he loves his daughter, but he still couldn't control his anger. Lily was an amazing character, so strong to do the right thing for her daughter and herself, even though she loved the good side of Ryle. I was really drawn to Atlas and am happy we got the epilogue with him, but I wish we had more with the two of them. :) (hide spoiler)]
