It is likely a pre-pub estimate, though, so if a book-in-hand user requests a change it should be done.
I did use Amazon as a source, not Powell's store. I did debate it as WorldCat did not list page count.

FWIW I also have the book in hand (purchased from Powell's, hence the link there) and it is 128 pages. Re #402.
Believe Me, a memoir of love, death, and jazz chickens by Eddie Izzard, 0399175830 (ISBN13: 9780399175831) hardcover from Blue Rider Press, is listed at 400 pages, but it only has 348 pages. Can someone correct that, please? Thanks!

The 281 page count is because I counted the "About The Author" page which I don't think Worldcat does.
My post #400. I didn't realize there was more info missing until now.
The book is a paperback published by Silhouette.
Would someone please add that.

Book in hand always trumps other sources, even Worldcat (that often doesn't count the last unnumbered page of text).
However, I personally think an author bio is not about the book itself, just as we wouldn't count a list of other works by the author.

A note may be made in the description, but it is not necessary.

So, if I want a page count of 552, which is the correct count for the story, I just have to select another edition, even though it's not the edition I read? Cause in my opinion an interview is not part of the story (also seeing that not all editions contain an interview). And otherwise my total page count for 2017 will be off.

Please add page count to this bookEl vampiro de la colonia Roma this book with ISBN 970-05-0023-3 needs page number. The page count is 224.
Someone mentioned that it appears in worldcat with 177 pages but I own the book and it is 224 pages. I'm guessing the mistake comes from worldcat joining many ISBN's for this book under the same page count but the specific ISBN I mentioned is 224 pages.
If you could add a Spanish description as well I'd appreciate it.
The description in the back cover of the book says:
