I have been twice to the US, but never this far north. I went once to Houston and once to Orlando (less than 10 days total)
I really want to go to BEA next year, in NY
@Tati I wanna go to BEA soooo bad! If work lets me take a week off the week of BEA, I will probably go.
I went to Florida once and thought I would melt from the heat. Turns out December was the perfect time to go, I survived.
I'm thinking of scheduling part of my vacation during that time
@Tati That's a perfect vacation!@Andrea I wanna go to go Orlando just so I can go to the Harry Potter exhibit.
Ok Tati ring me and We will talk about the tour and all...I already can smell the moneeeey that we are going to make bwahahahah 3:)
I'll just have to see how the money side of BEA goes, as it's a tad expensive to attend
GUYS I went to BOOKCON this year and it was freaking awesome. I really want to go to it and BEA next year but with people because I went by myself this year and it was fun but I lost my motivation and went home. BUT I SAW SARAH J MAAS AT A PANEL AND OMG IT WAS SO AMAZING
Oh yes, you're right, Andrea. Going with someone would twice as much fun
I know!! Also it was kinda sucky because people were supposed to only be able to get up to two signing wristbands and I saw so many people with like 7 or 8. Sigh.

@Danni Elle I did but unfortunately I couldn't get anything signed by her which was basically the whole reason I went. I did get a bunch of free galleys and three epic read bags which were awesome!
@Andrea you're so lucky!!! What was she like? O.O
I'd go for freebies LOL but galleys are cool too. I'd wanna go just to experience it. I've been to a lot of cons but not book cons.
Tati- I got some pretty cool one but I should've tried harder since I only got like 6. LolNicole- she's super funny and nice. She was also flustered when people would like super compliment her. She was on a panel with Victoria Aveyard, Susan Dennard, and Alex Bracken. It was awesome cause they have a great friend dynamic. There panels on YouTube somewhere called the magic of friendship. They all like hardcore love the lord of the rings too.
We have book fairs in Brazil, but they're more like huge bookstores. They're for readers, not for publishers, and that makes a huuuuge difference, I think.
@Andrea Well...I'm definitely going next year......are you going next year?
I really want to! I'm trying to convince my one friend to go with me but if I knew other people going I'd probably end up going with or without her. Lol.

@Andrea you could always meet people there. I'm probably going to try and drag my bf there lol.
I've never been to a book con but I would love to go to one. BUt none of my friends are into books like I am, so I really wouldn't have anyone to go with and that doesn't seem very fun to me
@Katrina @Andre I'd go with you guys. None of my friends are that much into books either but I usually have the privilege of dragging my bf to cons.
@Tati Are you referring to the show? That's the only thing that comes to mind when I hear of Hell's Kitchen XD
Nicole, nope, it's also the name of the neighborhood where BEA happens.The name is not very inspiring

@Tati probably for air fare. Luckily I have relatives that live at the outskirts of New York. I'll probably stay with them.

I'd try and stay at an apartment from airbnb, they're cheaper than hotels.But the dollar is pretty expensive for me, so I'd have to save up quite a bit of money. Especially as I would spend 10 days in NY, gotta explore the city a bit LOL
But can you imagine what if we really meet up someday that would be so cool!!!

@Tati that's understandable. It's a huge city! There's lots to explore. Airbnb is a good idea. Hotels would be expensive especially for 10 days. Everything in NY is just too expensive. I wanted to do some shopping there but I ended up shopping at the outlets lol.
