"Good girl." She smiled. She moved around to gather he ingredients for pancakes and eggs, keeping an eye on Amelia.

Amelia swung her feet as she watched, wanting to help but she didn't want to fall.
She put a pan on the stove and turned on the stove. She picked up Amelia. "Want to help mix the batter?@
Natalia smiled and put all the ingredients into the bowl and positioned Amelia in her arms so she could stir. "Not to hard okay?" She handed her a wooden spoon.
Amelia giggled and very very slowly started to stir the ingredients together.
"Yeah that's it." She smiled. "Make sure to get all the powder on the side of the bowl okay?"
"Like dis?" She asked, making sure to get the flour.
"Yes! You're so good." She kissed her head.
Amelia giggled and went a little faster.
"Okay I think it's ready." She said
Natalia sat her back down on the counter and poured some of the batter onto the pan.
Amelia swung her feet while watching her.
"Does daddy like big pancakes?" She grabbed a spatula.
"Yah, with stwabewwies," she answered cutely. "Me too!" She told her.
"You like big ones too?" She smiled. She flipped the pancake.
"Okay you can have only one big one though." She put the finished pancake on a plate then started another.
Elian was awake and watched them through the crack of the door. He grinned.Amelia nodded in agreement.
Natalia smiled and flipped the next pancake, then added it to the plate. She made four big pancakes.
She picked Amelia up and opened the fridge, taking out the strawberries. She sat her down on the floor. "I need you to pick out the best looking strawberries for me."
Amelia sat down on the floor and started to pick strawberries.
"Don't eat any." She warned playfully.
She giggled because it hadn't even come to her mind.
While Amelia did that, Natalia cooked up some eggs.
She came over and showed her the strawberries she'd chosen.
Natalia looked down at them. "Oh wow! They're perfect." She handed her a bowl. "Put them in here."
Amelia's hands were over flowing with strawberries. She started to count them as she put them in the bowl, every few moments leaning down to pick one that fell.
Natalia giggled, shaking her head. "You're such a good counter."
Amelia grinned and hugged Natalia. "I wake daddy?" She asked.
Natalia nodded, hugging her back. "Yeah you can-" she looked up in time to see Elian watching.
Hearing that, Elian quickly pretended he was asleep even though he knew Natalia cause him watching.
Natalia sighed deeply but was smiling. "Yeah; go ahead sweetie."
Amelia giggled and went to wake him up. She whispered in an overly exaggerated way, "daddy," she said. When he let out a fake snore, she lifted her hands to her lips and giggled into them cutely. She ran out to tell Natalia about it.
"Oh he did, did he?" She snickered. She turned off the stove then took Amelia's hand and crept into the bedroom with her. She dropped her hand and stepped up onto the bed, standing over Elian. She made the bed shake with her legs. "Wake up!"
Elian laughed softly and lifted his head a little before he playfully tackled both of them to the bed.
Natalia squealed, giggling. "You're such a bum!"
Elian laughed softly and playfully bit her cheek and then bit Amelia's nose.
Amelia giggled. "We make pantates."
"Oh yeh?" He asked and let them go. "Lets go try them."
He laughed, "oh well then." He chuckled and walked with them to the kitchen, Amelia against his hip.
Elian took her hand. "Did you get anymore sleep?"
He sighed as he put Amelia down on the counter in front of him and then sat down on a stool. "Oh, big pancakes!" He said, smiling.
"Yep." Natalia smiled. "And strawberries; but you knew that." SHe teased.
