"So you're eating very slowly," he laughed.
Smiling down at her, he looked up at Natalia. "What are you thinking, love?" He asked.
Natalia looked at him. "I'm thinking about having our baby in our arms with us here right now."
He smiled, "you want a girl?" He asked.
"What if it were twins?" She asked
"Then double the trouble," he laughed.
Natalia giggled, shaking her head.
He smiled and pulled her to him by the waist.
She rested her head on his shoulder. "One big happy family."
He smiled, "Amy, isn't that your friend?" He asked, pointing to a blonde little boy around her age.
The blonde boy looked up and perked too. "Amy!!" He said and let go of his sisters hand.
"Elliot where are you going?" His sister frowned.
He got to Amelia. He immediately showed her his teeth. One tooth was missing, "look look look!!"Elian smiled, "I think thats the boy who's mother died... so his sister sort of raised him.
Natalia frowned but nodded, she watching them closely."Wow!" Amelia gasped. "Did it hurt?"
Shyly, Elliot's sister approached them.
Elliot grinned and nodded, "yeah, it is." He said.He sat up straight, "hi," he said to them. "You're Elliot's sister?"
"I still have mine." She said.She nodded. "I'm Mya."
Elliot grinned, "do you want to see it?" He asked. "Mya told me the tooth fairy might come take it tonight and give me some money." He said happily. They had met here at the park, actually."Elian," he smiled and held his hand out. "And my wife, Natalia."
She smiled and nodded. "Yeah!"Mya smiled and shook their hands. "It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you," he said. "Would you like to join us while they play together?" He asked.
"Sure." She nodded. She sat her backpack on the ground and sat down on the blanket, crossing her legs.
He smiled and looked over at Amelia and Elliot who were still talking.
"How old is he?" Natalia asked."Just turned five." Mya replied.
"Amelia's turning 4 in a month!" He smiled. "Does he go to school?"
She nodded. "Full time yeah; she's only three? She speaks so well." She smiled
He beamed proudly, "you've talked to them before?"
She came to his birthday party last year." She nodded.
"Oh yeah!" He smiled. "Katy... My cousin was with her, right?"
She nodded. "I believe so yeah." She smiled. "I was only helping out for a little while since I had midterms that week."
He smiled, "you're in college, right?" He wondered, recalling that their father was never home... or so that was what Amelia said.
He smiled, "what're you studying?" He asked.
"Child Studies with a minor in American Sign Language." She smiled.
"Thats nice," He smiled, "why sign language?" He asked.
"I think it's a good language to learn. My boyfriend is also deaf, so it helps a lot." She said.
