She pushed herself up and strolled over to the mirror. She turned her back to it and looked over her shoulder. "Its awesome." She grinned.
He nodded. Right above his heart was his daughters initials, A.L. He wanted to cover it but he didn't, he just hoped she wouldn't ask
"Once upon a time, Cinderella was so high fell off a cliff and died before she could get her happy ending," Elian joked.
"Once upon a time there was this little Russian girl. She was greatly loved by her family and friends in her neighbourhood. She loved to perform for everyone on holidays and festivals..until..." She trailed off.
He listened silently, letting her talk. He didn't comment when she trailed off, waiting for her to continue.
"Until one evening when she was twelve, she found a dead baby bird." She said, her voice darkening. "Not to her knowledge, she awoken the bird, bringing it back to life. Right in front of everyone." She said, then sighed. "Instantly the community turned on her. Everyone called her the Devil of Satan. Even her parents thought she was possessed. That night, her family kicked her out of her home."
She shrugged. "That wasn't the worse part. Well, at the time it was but since I was basically homeless I lived in a brothel for four years."
He looked back at her and then took her hand in his. He gently kissed it but didn't say a word. He didn't know what he could say.
"I didn't sleep with random men I swear." She said. "I ran away before my virginity was bidded away."
"I keep forgetting that teeny fact?" He chuckled. "Wait, do this is like dating an older woman?" He joked to changed the subject.
"Woah," he laughed. "Anyways, I have another story and I promise it's not Sleeping Beauty was so high she got hit by a car and never got a happy ending," he joked.
He laughed softly. "Once upon a time, there was an odd little boy." He said after a moment. "Who was never accepted, not even by his parents. People said he was crazy, delusional, picked on and told him he was a freak just because he liked to imagine and not just watch. He liked to draw while others liked cartoons. While his parents tried their best to accept him, they didn't, especially when that odd little boy turned into a teenager. All the while, the boy lived isolated, never bothered anyone. He started doing drugs after meeting a random guy smoking weed because the demons in his head wouldn't shut up. Weed turned to coke, coke turned to crystals and crystals lead to worse." He stared up at the ceiling. "Whoring around, drinking, wasting away," he said bitterly. "Until he met a woman."
