On Goodreads I've only rated seven books five stars so I can relate to only liking a few books! Yeah this is definitely a mystery book but it doesn't read like one at all.

I think once I actually got used to the idea of rating I haven't rated that many higher than three, and I plan on going through all the old books that I read that I rated as fives and really reviewing them so I know where I really stand on them. I really liked this one so I gave it four stars on here even though I felt it was a four and a half :)

I just finished Part 1.

(view spoiler)[Cadence's father shooting the gun at her was messed up. I mean if he has a problem with the family, don't take it out on your daughter! I guess that European trip was a way to make amends but if I was her mother I wouldn't want her near him ever again. The mother may love her in her own way but the way the Sinclairs look down on allowing them to share their feelings is why Cadence is messed up.

Luckily Gat is there to show the Sinclairs that there's so much more out there than their Beechnut Island. It made me mad that they looked down on him when he would casually bring up Cadence's dad and Tippin when they have known them since he was 8 years old. It's tough to hear but they need to move on. Why is Mirren always sick?
Why Cady's dad would take her to Europe when it was all arranged and paid by her Granddad?
Why the Liars won't go into Clairmont?
I bet all the changes had to do with her accident and since her Grandma isn't there. I'm curious to find out what happened to her.
Also I never read Wuthering Heights and some books always mention it to compare characters but I think that was the best example of a snippet of the story. I will now associate Heathcliff to Gat :) (hide spoiler)]
