The transition of humans into animals at the verge of survival was well articulated. Even in the face of death the professional organisation is still maintained; The authority of judge over police and doctor diagnosis. It shows the human tendency for a societal structure. Beginning is little clumsy since it starts with introduction of ten characters one after other. But they meet at a place, then things take violent turn. This is my first book by Agatha christie. Great review! Thank's for sharing! I am even more excited to finish it now than I was before. I'm still in the somewhat clumsy beginning so it'll be great to see it even out and get going at a better, more even pace. :)

Trust me, With the first murder shit hits the fan. :)

Finally finished last night. It's a different writing style than I'm normally used to so it did take a little bit for me to get with the flow of the story but I thought it was constructed well. It definitely kept you guessing because you would feel like you had it figured out but then you would doubt yourself and then be back at square one. I thought it was a good, fun little mystery!
