Review: Now this was a good addition to Perfect Harmony series. Add a Sexy Hispanic go-go dancer to music Like Michilen Moses creates and I can be in near heaven. Lucky the go-go dancer is remarkably the more centered person rather than music superstar M, we see the member of the groups from the previous two books and as always the chapters are headed by web review or tweets by characters we have seen or by people who are fans of the group/person. I am trying hard to have more sympathy for M but their are Time I want to strangle the both of them as they are unwilling to Compromise.
Roger, which book was your favorite of that series?
Probably Love Me Tenor book 2 but All of them were good. Unfortunately published by a company owned by Penguin so unlendable.
I wish they came in audio like her Gaymers series since I prefer audiobooks.

I prefer her Gaymers series. I really enjoy it.

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday! I think using the pass so early was sad but missing a week would have been worse. I'm feeling like starting a series, just don't know which yet. Post soon :)

Good Lord it was exhausting reading this book especially with the anniversary games happening at the M/M Romance Group. Nicholas is a Scientist (chemist) before his time and an English Baron. Ban is an over 300 year old vampire. There is so much happening in the book and the main plot is how to save Nicholas' Heredity Village from Ban's Master. Not only do we have Vampires but secret magic societies (2 of them). The original vampire coming to us from outer space, reincarnation gifts of the mind (psionics). Nicholas dies to save the village but about a hundred years later is once again reincarnated.

Final Thoughts:
I really liked this book. Loved the angsty beginning. Not too over the top but enough to get your emotions going. Loved the hint of taboo. Though honestly, I would have been perfectly fine if they were blood related too. But I'm a perv like that. The author did love her 2 week time jumps. Almost every chapter was "Two weeks later"
I thought the book could have been shortened a bit. Seemed just a teeny weeny too long. Maybe cut out or shorten all the scenes that were on set. Did we really need to read entire scenes from the movie being acted out? I skimmed those parts. It did nothing to add to the story itself.

Review: This series is one of my favorites. It's fluffy crack and I read them for all my comfort reads. It's been a while sense I read these and still enjoy them as the very first time. The Quinton clan are some of my favorite characters. Happy to see Troy Sawyer again.

The Bird and the Sword

Review:
This was a fantasy book (my favorite genre) in first POV (my least favorite). I ended up loving it despite the first POV.
There were some twists and turns that I didn't see coming and some that were obvious.There is romance and the hero reminded me of the A-hole heroes in the old HR. But the heroine made up for that. She was mute but she wasn't a doormat and saved herself and everyone else. There was a message in the story about how powerful words can be which I truly believe in.
I'll roll at midnight Thursday night. Central time. Your completion post is perfect but just remember next time to make a selection post as well. I'm not worried about it this time though.
I'll be away from 1st of Sep to 15 of Sep. I will download as many book as I can on my kindle, tablet , phone and iPod :DI will have internet and I know I'll have time to read but I just want to let you all know for this 2 week I might not be very active and if something unexpected came up , I'll let you know asap.

Review:
I had no serious issue with this book; the only thing I can say is that it didn’t feel as funny, interesting or unusual as the others, it was just… less. Although Lena and Jimmy’s connection felt a bit forced (since it was basically one-sided for a long while and then suddenly not), I did appreciate the development of their initial friendship and trust.
Another thing I like about this series in general is how all the characters are integrated while still keeping the focus on a single couple; there are many other series where the previous characters reappear for one or two scenes but with no real purpose.
