I read this book as my New York Times bestseller for PopSugar. It came up on my list as a recommendation because I am a big fan of Jodi Picoult, so I expected something similar. The book is about a mother who is forced to make a split-second decision during an emergency at her daughter's school, and the aftermath of her choice. The book didn't quite go in the direction I'd expected, but it was still very good.

The premise sounds interesting and I also love Jodi Picoult (some of her books more than others). Adding to my TBR :)
