Looking for Reviews or Reads

Judy has lived with her egocentric mother since her parents divorced when she was a baby. When her father, Troy Kee, shows up at her sixth birthday party and whisks her away to his vineyard in France, Judy is more than happy to go with him. But Adele, Judy's mother, isn't quite ready to give up her daughter. Can Judy forgive Adele? More importantly, can Troy?
Clean, historical romance(ish) set in 1938, France and England. Email me at kellynroth@gmail.com or message me here if you're interested in reading it! :)

Howdy, howdy, howdy!
I am looking for reviews for The Letter, so if anybody's interested, just reply to this message, or send me a private one via Goodreads!
Here's a little synopsis:
First it was just a letter, maybe a joke, a coincidence. Now it was more than that. Now it was a living nightmare, threatening everyone he loved, pulling his greatest fear into a reality . . .
As the letters keep coming, Brock Sumner watches his world shatter at his feet. Building a wall around his heart seemed like the only answer. Is there any other way to protect the woman he loves?
A drunk, with no incentive to change; a runaway, with a price on his back; a young child, afraid in the dark . . .
Will the letters, perhaps, pull their lives together? Or will the killer find a way to destroy them all?

I'd love to review "This Hostile Land," if you're still looking for reviewers. :)

Hi Nathan, I'm an avid mystery fan. If you are still looking for reviews, I would love to give your book one. Be warned, though, I am honest. If I don't like it I'll say so. The only drawback on my end is I can only do Kindle format.

Sarah, the medieval dictionary sounds interesting! I will read that if you still want some reviews.

Hello Jennie (and Rebekah, too!),
I am specifically looking for anyone who would be able to also leave feedback on Amazon as well as Goodreads. Would either or both of you be able to do that? That would be great!

Yes, I can leave feedback on Amazon.

Great! You can email me at kellynroth@gmail.com (or send me your email address in a message here), and I'll get you your copy. Oh, and what format would you like?

Excellent! If you message me your email address I will send you a PDF. Thanks so much!

I'd still love for some more reviews on my newest YA fantasy release Adela's Curse and the first book in my YA fantasy series The Rise of Aredor.
I have PDFs of both, and Mobi or Epub for The Rise of Aredor. Message me if you're interested!!

I am interested in The Rise of Aredor.

and

Both are totally clean. There's a teeny bit of magic, but it's only used by the evil characters once or twice and is very definitely evil. There's no "white" magic.
If you're interested in reviewing either book (or both!), I'd suggest messaging my profile -- I'm more likely to see your message there than here. :)

I can send it in PDF for free in return for a review. Thanks so much!

I could potentially read and review it. How long is it?

211 pages in it's printed format. If you are still interested I could email it to you?

Whitfield Preparatory Academy ought to be the perfect school…
Not only does the Academy boast a distinguished faculty and lavish campus, it is also home to the privileged youth of the upper class. They will one day hold the reins of power in the business world and political arena – but for now, they exercise absolute authority at the Academy.
For seventeen-year-old Ella Parker, acceptance into the prestigious Academy is a dream come true. But her delight quickly turns to dread when she finds herself in the crosshairs of an elite group of ruthless students dubbed “the Crowd.” Ella's been at the center of unwanted attention before – but never like this – and she'll do anything to make them stop. Anything, that is, apart from accepting the advances of popular and wealthy playboy Jackson Montgomery, the leader of the Crowd.
Will Ella be humiliated, or triumph over her tormentors?

Author’s Note: Although there are no graphic details or profanity, the book does deal with some realistic, contemporary issues for teenagers, and there are brief references to drug and alcohol use, references to sexual content and violence. “I loved this book, I was instantly engrossed and attached to these characters and their stories. What seems to be a typical story about a girl and her troubles in school very quickly morphs into something much deeper and keeps surprising you. This is the kind of story where “just one more chapter” quickly turns into 3 or 4 (or 5…)” Goodreads Reviewer
“The perfect school, the perfect friend, the perfect guy…but are all what they seem? The Crowd is a novel of dreams, bitter disappointments, broken pasts, hopeful love, and the weight of forgiveness, as one girl trying to do what’s right finds out if she alone is enough to make a difference.” Amazon Reviewer
Hello to all you readers! I am looking for reviews for The Innocent, the first in the trilogy. Here's a little synopsis:
Harvey West has one month to prove his innocence to a town that has already condemned him. The gallows stare him in the face. Who would shoot a girl so young? Who could hate that much? And will the victim's sister ever look past the obvious to see the truth?

Dear readers, I'd like to introduce you to The Dressmaker's Secret. Now, here's a little of the story behind it:
When I was twelve, I'd outgrown middle grade fiction. I found that most young adult fiction books either dealt with issues I wasn't ready for, focused on boy/girl relationships (I didn't care at that age), or simply weren't meaty enough for an avid reader who just wanted to read something a: wholesome and b: mature.
I feel like there is a certain age somewhere between middle grade and young adult that is drastically ignored, mostly because everything is changing so quickly for girls at their age, mentally and spiritually and physically.
The Dressmaker's Secret is aimed at twelve- and thirteen-year-old girls who are tired of middle grade and yet find young adult too teenagerish, if you know what I mean. I remember being tired of all the teenage drama which didn't seem real, and yet not wanting the cheery 'everything's perfect' of most middle grade fiction.
I know that's a narrow readership to write for, but I'd argue that TDS could also entertain young adult readers. I've actually had a few adults enjoy it as well.
Now for the million-dollar question! What makes The Dressmaker's Secret special? Why should you (or anyone) want to read it?
First, that's two questions. Second, it's special because, though suitable for young readers, it is meaty. It offers something to sink you teeth into without adding drugs and abuse and other things that you need to know about but not necessarily fill your head with as a young girl at a vulnerable age. If anything, I think reading those kind of books would lead to depression.
The Dressmaker's Secret is the kind of book I would have loved to read when I was twelve or thirteen.
The Dressmaker's Secret is the story of a young girl named Alice. She lives in London, with her mother, her mother's brother and sister, and her twin sister, Ivy. The year is 1870, and without a man in her life, Alice's mother Miss Chattoway is shunned by her peers, though she has built a modest dressmaking business to provide for her daughters.
At eight years old, Alice finally starts to ask some more probing questions about the apparent lack of a father in her life. Miss Chattoway immediately shut her off, and Alice begins to wonder if she will ever find out who her father is.
I know this sounds like I'm dealing with some issues on-par with drugs and abuse, but although the effect of not having a complete family is definitely featured in this novel (in fact, writing this novel helped me get through a difficult time myself), it's really more the story of a young girl's love and loyalty to her mother.
I know you can find them yourself if you want to, but here are slices of a few of my favorite reviews:
"It’s the parents’ story from the child’s perspective. It’s the “epilogue” of a drama, the “sadly-ever-after,” and how it got better."
"[Kellyn Roth] writes with the heart and depth of an adult."
"… definitely recommend The Dressmaker’s Secret to any historical fiction enthusiast, or just anyone in general!"
“Roth did a wonderful job in presenting an intriguing book full of body and depth.”
To summarize ...
Title: The Dressmaker's Secret (The Chronicles of Alice and Ivy, Book 1)
Genre: Christian Historical Fiction (aimed at upper middle grade/young adult)
Blurb: It comes to the attention of curious eight-year-old Alice Chattoway that her father is seemingly nonexistent. After realizing that his absence is making her mother unhappy, Alice becomes determined to find him and pull her family together. But Miss Chattoway’s answers to her daughter’s questions are vague at best and Alice begins to wonder if she will ever discover her mother’s secret.

Your book sounds very intriguing! I would love to read it if you would still like more reviews :) And thank you Willowy for inviting me to this group ^_^ I appreciate it very much!

I am looking for reviews for my Christmas book, Our Christmas Bear! It is an illustrated short story, with the following synopsis:
For three years, the widow and her two daughters, Rosetta and Bianca, have lived alone in the cabin on Mr. Heaton's vast estate. But this winter they have a visitor. What would bring a man to their lonely home in the bitterness of sub-zero weather? Is he the only man who is in the forest this winter? And why does he have such a mysterious name?
Loosely based on the old tale of Snow-White & Rose-Red, this is a Christmas story the whole family can enjoy. When good and evil come face to face in the snowy woods, which will prevail?
I can provide PDF only at this time. I would like reviewers who are able to do both Amazon and Goodreads.
Thank you so much, and have a blessed Christmas season!

Hi Victoria,
I would ask for a copy, but I already have one. I got one earlier. I should have it read and reviewed on both Goodreads and Amazon before Christmas. I'm looking forward to reading it.
