I would like any recommendations for fiction books about experiences working in the financial services industry, or I suppose other white-collar type jobs. Shop Class as Soulcraft: An Inquiry into the Value of Work by Matthew Crawford is the closest I've come to finding something I am looking for. It touched so well on the dissatisfaction and unhappiness often experienced while working in these types of jobs.

The only things I can come up with are The Wolf of Wall Street and The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine, neither of which are fiction. I also doubt that either one is what you're looking for although they do reflect the soullessness of the financial services industry.
