But one thing I loved was this quote: 'If you are allergic to a thing, it is best not to put that thing in your mouth, particularly if the thing is cats.' I mean, it's so random!! It cracked me up big time. Hilarious.

Also, would Olaf really cut off his leg...?

I remember this book so clearly from the movie that was released years ago, where Jim Carrey played Olaf. It was fantastic.

If I read it straight I'd get it done in an hour and a bit. Honestly, it is so quick to read. I'm finished now.

Chapter 8-end (view spoiler)[Alright so they managed to somehow get the keys (impossible), get through the gate (impossible) sailed to Curdled Cave without knowing how to really use a sailboat (impossible) and then they managed to get back to Olaf. Ugh. And the fact that Poe again doesn't believe them, and thinks they can't go after him alone, when they're always constantly alone with him. Jeeeeez. (hide spoiler)]

These are just two of the most frustrating questions ever. I love how short and easy these books are to read. To be honest, that's the reason I'm reading them. I don't really like these book, as they're so annoying and unbelievable and unrealistic. But at least this book pointed out something true: 'Mr Poe would once again fail to do anything even remotely helpful'. Sums up the whole story. No idea how he's still looking after their affairs.
I was a little bit confused, when halfway through the book we still hadn't (view spoiler)[come across Count Olaf. I suspected he'd be Sir, and then the Foreman, and then Orwell, and he wasn't either. He was Shirley! (hide spoiler)] I hate the way (view spoiler)[Olaf is always so calm when he shows his ankle with the tattoo, as if he knows he's always going to get away and he doesn't care whether they know in the end. No idea why he doesn't just say to them all the time that he is Olaf. It's not like they don't know at first sight. (hide spoiler)]

And of course it's Olaf. I'm not sure how much more I can put up with to be honest. It's so typical, and I roll my eyes at everything, even the writing style and the definitions. I'm going to try soldier through, but it's getting tricky.

The Quagmires believe that Olaf won't be able to tell Sunny apart from a sack of flour, and as if a piece of thread would be able to hold said sack and wouldn't snap...

How does Sunny use the shoes to keep the crabs away when she can't walk..?
