Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Once again, Rachel and Ivy have an encounter that almost leads to Rachel's death. Jenks, is furious, Ivy is distraught and Rachel is guilt ridden. Who do you think is most responsible for what happened?

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments Ugh, this thing with Rachel and Ivy...I was long over this issue with them. I can't blame Jenks for being angry that his two best friends keep making dumb decisions. Rachel keeps wanting to find a blood balance with Ivy because she wants to help her. Bottom line is though that Ivy has to find it within her own self to do that. If anything, I think Rachel may be making the situation worse. People keep telling her it's a bad idea and she's not listening.

Yawn. This story continues to bore me with Rachel making the same dumb moves and Ivy responding in the same way each time. She's a vampire!!! Get over it. Either get in a sexual relationship with her or leave her alone. This is all on Rachel.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments Yes, it definitely has that "beating a dead horse" feel to it.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Ivy needs to accept who she is and Rachel needs to make better decision.

Also, Rachel's guilt angst is annoying. Yes, she asked Ivy to bite but that whole situation had a manipulative feel to it with Ivy going on about how Rachel loves danger and feels to need to mix risk and passion. I felt that Ivy was seducing Rachel into agreeing even if she wasn't consciously aware of doing so.

I hadn't thought of it that way, especially the way it's narrated. Ivy doesn't come across so manipulative.

She just went on and on about Rachel's adrenalin addiction that I got a strange vibe about it.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments They're both adding fuel to the fire of the other's addiction and/or neediness at this point, which makes for a bad combination.
