All about Abhay and Polo (The snail pals :P)
Abhay, you were the one who urged me to start ASAP. I may have opened the box, but then I went to sleep. It was Polo who ate almost everything, and then I had to snatch a few bits for me. ^.^
Loved that - hallucination of his hallucination.
And the hallucinations even interact with each other. That is a first for me. Never knew they could do that. His IQ must be above 200 to have so many thought processes and learning to take place simultaneously.

I didnot understand the difference between hallucinatory folk and aspects/ Are they one and the same?
My favorite too is Tobias - the one who is quite knowledgeable
I like the ladies too - Kalyani as well as the other one - the one who always chides JC.

I know of Beautiful Mind.
And never ask me whether I have watched anything, as 99.9% chances are that I would not have :P :P

I like Ivy and Tobias. Ivy is very observant, somewhat like a professional detective. Tobias is the powerhouse of all knowledge. :D
J.C. is fun too, though I didn't understand the Achmed reference. What was it about? I guessed it wasn't anything pleasant though.

that was damn funny. XD achmed the dead terrorist lol . i found my new youtube timepass now :P thanks

The reference probably points towards India being the hubbub of terrorism, which is stupid and unjustified in my point of view too. -_-
That photo is of Sandra probably, or it wouldn't have held that much importance to Stephen.

Next book is a tad longer than Book 1, so would pick it up after a while.

Maybe the picture was of Jesus? I don't know, but he said the person was looking into the camera at a time when the latter wouldn't be available for 2000 more years. And he wasn't killed then. Before Christ (B.C.) maybe?
Just an assumption.

Also about The Beautiful Gate: (Source-Wikipedia)
"According to the New Testament, the Beautiful Gate was one of the gates belonging to the Temple in Jerusalem prior to its destruction by the Romans in AD 70. It was referred to as "beautiful" in chapter 3 of the Acts of the Apostles. According to the Acts narrative, there was a habitual beggar there with a congenital disability, who sought alms as people entered and left the temple. Peter says, "I have no gold and silver but I have something else." Then taking the man's right hand, he helped the man up and immediately the man's legs and arm became strong again and he was able to walk and move instead of laying there begging."

Baap reh. That's why I am so against lending books. More than half the times one doesn't get it back.

I read it a long, long ago in my late teens. Remember liking it. Have the paperback. But dont know when I will read it. Perhaps a group read will be an impetus to start.

What if he would have revealed that they were all his hallucinations in the end, and not at the very start? I doubt I would've believed him. They appeared so real.
