Alexandra (alex2911) | 431 comments So here we go, a little late in the year but I'm hopeful to complete the challenge.

Here are the sites I plan to visit:

a. Decorated Cave of Pont d’Arc, known as Grotte Chauvet-Pont d’Arc, Ardèche
- Read a book set in France: Le Montespan
- Read a book about painting: The Goldfinch
- Take Home Item: - Piece of Charcoal: Read a book with a dark grey or black cover (70%): Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

1. China:
b. The Great Wall
- Read a book set in China: Beijing Doll
- Read a book in which there is an army: Medicus
- Take Home Item – Brick: Because the Great Wall is colossal and made of bricks, read a chunkster that is more than 500 pages: Die hellen Tage

2. India:
a. Taj Mahal
- Read a book set in India: The Toss of a Lemon
- Read a book about a great love: Me Before You
- Take Home Item – White Marble: Read a book with a predominantly white cover (70%) and with minimal black on it. No other colours are allowed:The Winter People

Mexico & Caribbean:
c. Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve
- Read a book set in Mexico: Like Water for Chocolate
- Read a book about migration (human, animal, insect):The Abundance
- Take Home Item – Butterfly: Read a book where a butterfly is on the cover or the word is in the title:The Sound of Butterflies
