Congrats to you as well on your Latin! How do you say that in Latin... Ave? I just looked it up and it says something like "macte virtute' but somehow that doesn't sound right. :)
Thanks! Not sure what it is; it's not something we've learned. Ave and Avete are apparently greetings/farewell or something (I peeked ahead in my textbook). You have done well would be "bene egisti".

I've found that I don't mind changes from the book. Sometimes there are things in a book that I hate so if that's cut, I'm fine with it lol. Like there was some petty drama in Vampire Academy, which they left in the movie so that disappointed me because I wish they had cut it.I just hope they give the movie a big enough budget because being fantasy, they're going to need it. Otherwise it will look fake.
I mind some changes when they're major or change some huge thing if I like the book. I'll agree with that second sentence though. I like what they're doing with the Hobbit movies, but then, I was never a fan of the book. I love the rest of Tolkien's stuff that I've read though. The man's a genius.

Okay. It was eighty-something or ninety degrees (Farenheit because the USA is silly like that) yesterday for us, apparently, down here. It's terrible. I want winter back. OH? You have a cat? What's his or her name? Do you prefer summer/spring?
Ack. So jealous :) today there is as much as 10C here. :) but usually around 5.. Agh. I have a gorgeous Silver Shaded Persian. Her name is Anastasia :) though I never use it, lol. She turned 1 on February 1st ;p I prefer summer. As it still isn't spring here :p no flowers, no green grass.
And I'm jealous of the temperature you have. Pretty! That's a nice name. I call my cat "feles mei" or "keika", the latter coming from how I used to call kitties "keys" when I was little. . . .That's cool. Happy very late birthday to Anastasia then! Okay. Wow. . . . We have lots of that, and our spring came late for us down here. . . .
I prefer autumn. Here autumn is really nice for the first 2 months. The temperature is around 15-20 C. Also even if it rains for 2h it's not so bad.
I really need to memorize Celsius-Farenheit conversions. That's cool. That's like late autumn for us, or even winter, depending on the year.

When we got him he had his back broken :( we didn't know. But he wasn't in pain. And he could still walk just fine. But he couldn't walk stairs. Or jump into the couch. When he turned 6 he strarted having pain. He had been going on painkillers for more than a year. We had to take him away :\ so that he wouldn't be in pain anymore. His name was Tarzan :)
Poor little fellow. That's really sad. It's probably for the better then that's he's gone because now he can't suffer. Cute name.
I'm sorry Carina, it's terrible to have to watch a pet suffer.
No offense meant if any of you fit into this category, but bird people are kinda weird.
My grandpa loves birds. They're interesting, but I like rodents and cats a lot more.
