Hello, Mythological Teams! I'm one of the Co-Captains for Team Burning Firebirds. :-) I hope the rest of you are having as much fun in the days leading up to the W.O.B.B.L.E. kickoff as we are! :-)
Hey other Mythological teams! Excited to participate in WOBBLE with all of you :D Only one week now!
Hey everybody! I'm one of the captains of Green Dragons. I see a lot of new faces, and many I've seen before :). I'm excited to get to know all of you during this challenge.All of the myth team captains are working on a little pre-WOBBLE getting to know you fun, so look out for that soon!
In the mean time, let us know what you're currently reading, just finished or getting ready to read!

It's a reread for me, but I noticed that book 2 recently came out, and I remembered I enjoyed book 1 but couldn't really remember that much else.....so reread lol!

Hi, I am co-captain from team woodcutter werewolves. Nice to meet you all. I am currently reading Scaredy Dog: Understanding and Rehabilitating Your Reactive Dog. And I like it a lot, because its about dogs training and I am dog lover.

but I have two books waiting to be read for a review. What to do? That's a problem only other bookworms can understand. :D

Great question, Shannon! I'm currently rereading The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster for a challenge task for my Around the World team. And next up, I plan to finally tackle Outlander (*gulp*) by Diana Gabaldon for our BOM discussion this month. :-)

I work with dogs at a rescue shelter, I run a blog about dogs and I am currently applying for funding to start a PhD in dog behaviour and welfare. Do you have a dog yourself? What kind?
I am currently reading Guards! Guards! in the day time to celebrate being on team Green Dragons and reading Hauntings after dark to try and give myself a good scare >:)
Several people on wobble are playing in the same group challenge. It's doable. The other one is very flexible about what we can read.

Flexible is good! Sounds like WOBBLE will be a bit more strict. Hopefully your other challenge is going well :)

We're in First Class now, so I don't want to leave my team in the lurch. Plus, it's fun and I have a great team. :-) I figure that at most I'll be required to read two books a week, and since I usually can average three or more, it should be totally doable.

Yes it's Gretchen from recess. She describes me perfectly so it wasn't a hard choice to use this picture.

Oh that sounds like a lot of fun, I've actually only ever taken part in fun charity dog shows and a couple of shows in Finland weirdly enough haha. I actually don't have a dog of my own at the moment which I'm very sad about. I am currently living in a rented apartment which doesn't allow dogs and am working full time so don't have the time to commit to one. I am hoping this will change soon though and as soon as it does I will rescue one!

Oh nice! I have to admit the Round the World challenge does look really fun and I think I will probably hitch a ride on a team at some point in the future - probably after WOBBLE though ;)

Hmmm... I see that Swimming Mermalions have not yet greeted other Myth teams (it could be probably because we can't be out of water for a long time...), so hello-hello everyone!I like that all of the myth team captains are working on a little pre-WOBBLE, looking forward for it!

Get you drawn in totally into the story. I can really recommend it.

Hey Julianna! Great to see you here! I've missed you so much! Yup, I'm the captain of the Burning Firebirds. I'm really happy to be in the Mythical side of this challenge. Isn't it awesome. It's honestly epic! We are going to rock this! :)
The cool thing about these challenges is the TBR list gets longer and longer with all these books others are reading. It just sounds so good, you just have to add it.

Nancy, I'm going to be using a lot of my NetGalley books. I'm so behind on them. It's sad. Really sad. I need to read something like 80 books. LOL

Armi, that doesn't even touch the amount of my books in my kindle and physical books I need to tackle. CrazyCat, Yes, it's too many! I was thinking perhaps I can get through some of them this way. Let's just say I never have to buy a book to read for a reading task. ;)

Attention All Myth Teams!
Reading challenges are an exciting time to get to know new people with the same interest in common. It's a time to see all the different books others are reading and getting recommendations to expand your TBR list. We'd like to share this time for expanding from our teams to reach out to our brother/sister Myth Teams.
Team captains of the Myth Teams have come together to give this unique opportunity for us to all connect. This is going to be a rotating mini challenge and we have divided our teams to spend a week visiting an assigned Myth Team for a week(s) of cheering and showing our Myth pride!
This is an optional mini challenge and you don't have to participate if you don't want to.
Listed below are team roles. You may select any of these or one role per person. It's up to you!
Roles:
Author Quotes Cheer: Look up an author quote and spread that cheer
Book Title Cheer: Find a Book Title and use it in a way to spread that cheer
Motivational Cheer: Find a motivational quote, line, or saying to spread that cheer
Event Cheer: Cheer the group with an event they are working on
