Kimberly (poweki) | 1713 comments I'm finishing my paper! Hope to turn it in tomorrow. It's a beast. I'm ready to say goodbye to it.

Other than that, we're trying to figure out how to attend multiple parties tonight so as not to let our friends down. And catching up with other friends we haven't seen in a long time.

It's a full weekend!

I finished THE SECRET PLACE.

Going to start BLACK-EYED SUSANS now.

Katharine | 92 comments Finished The Summer Book and Zlata's Diary: A Child's Life in Wartime Sarajevo. Will finish Murder Can Singe Your Old Flame in the morning. Starting Something Rotten tonight ("S"?) and Matched tomorrow morning ("R"?--MC's last name is Reyes).

I will read No Place Like Oz (Dorothy Must Die, #0.1) by Danielle Paige (#0.1) and The Darke Toad (Septimus Heap, #1.5) by Angie Sage (#1.5). I have lots of other half-steps if nobody else has one. I could read Sunbathing In The Rain A Cheerful Book About Depression by Gwyneth Lewis if that will work for beach item on cover, Black Ribbon (A Dog Lover's Mystery, #8) by Susan Conant for a #8 spot, and Thus Was Adonis Murdered (Hilary Tamar, #1) by Sarah Caudwell for "T". I have options for other slots if we need to switch around.

CARD 3

After hard day hunt, you enter into the Tavern looking forward to some cool ale and maybe some nice stew you know that's simmering in the back. After all it was you who brought rat meat for it. You're sitting at your table, drinking ale and thinking about quests that are waiting for you tomorrow, when you hear sniffle behind you. You turn around trying to find where the sound came from, but only Lady Kelly is sitting in that direction. You're little scared to approach her, after all she's the Master here, but your kind heart can't say no to damsel in distress. As you start approaching Kelly, you hear her muttering "They are gone. They are all gone. What am I supposed to do now?!" and she starts crying again. You sit beside her, offer her your not so clean handkerchief and ask her what's wrong. Through tears you find out that someone broke into her room and stole all her future quests.
"All future quests?! But how's that possible? There are no thieves in Novel Kingdom! I'll help you Lady Kelly. Don't worry, you'll have your quests back!?" you yell and storm out of Tavern to find a thief.

Tasks:
•Read a book where someone steals something
•Read a book where someone steals something
•Read a book where someone finds something
•Read a book where someone finds something

Rewards:
•2 Experience

Kimberly (poweki) | 1713 comments I've just logged in on my computer. The google sheet hasn't loaded properly on my phone in over a week - it's stuck...

Now that I can see it, all the spots look filled...

I have a suggestion. As it seems unlikely that we will read enough series books to go up another level - maybe we should use all our books to get new cards?

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2330 comments Do you have any books that are 6th-10th in a series? :D

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2330 comments We did that with some cards... The unfinished ones however are very specific like title with a heart, 3 in-between books...
