I really liked it! I listen to the audio though which was great. Maybe try the audio version?

message 2454: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly (poweki) | 1713 comments I have no books that are based on a movie. I hope someone else can take that one. It's really hard...

message 2455: by ~~~N~~~ (new)

~~~N~~~ (chocolate-cannibal-bunnies) | 616 comments Oh no, it's a shark! Thankfully I had Kathleen to come to my rescue ;)
I finished Paris Spleen. I think it fits for the brain? A huge portion of the book is on perception, intelligence, society, etc.
Can you add your read date so we can use it?
message 2461: by Ange (new)
Ange (bentleyrise) | 484 comments I only have one book on that list a space odyssey. I could read that?
kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments @Ashley, am not sure what you mean but it shows I finished it 8/21, forgot to shelf it tho lol
message 2463: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments Ah Kathleen there are two editions on your shelf so I was looking at the wrong one!
Sounds good Ange :) I'm sure everyone will be happy with that!!
message 2464: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments Good work team! Almost halfway through the first sheet :D
If you do finish your assigned squares (like me) just go ahead and read whatever you like. We'll make notes of it and bank it for the next bingo sheet we receive.
If you're struggling to finish a square (hate the book etc.) just shout out and someone else should be able to read it instead. No time for bad books!
kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments My slots are open to faster readers lol. Cant read/fast as before, life's a bit busy these days (maybe he didnt get the memo that i have better things to do like reading haha).
message 2466: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments I still think you can be pretty quick! What's keeping you busy?
message 2467: by Elspeth (new)
Elspeth | 101 comments OK, checking in finally.
I just finished Every Heart a Doorway (Every Heart a Doorway #1) by Seanan McGuire which I think could work for I5: genre is suspense. It's not shelved as suspense but it is shelved mystery and I would definitely call it suspense. I'm not completely caught up with the thread but it appears this spot is open?
I also started The Girl Who Fell from the Sky by Heidi W. Durrow which would work for G2: blue cover.
message 2468: by Elspeth (new)
Elspeth | 101 comments Oh, I could also try to finish Bellefleur by Joyce Carol Oates for O3: title starts with B.
message 2469: by Kimberly (new)
Kimberly (poweki) | 1713 comments I do the goodreads reading challenge every year. This year, before the WOBBLE challenge, I was constantly about 2-3 books behind schedule. Now I am 12 books ahead! Just thought I'd share. :)
Congrats, Kimberly. I am sure you would complete the target early this year.
Nikki the Sapphired Book Dragon AKA NixieNut  (sapphireddragon) | 1397 comments Nice work Kimberley! I upped my challenge from last year and am currently 5 books ahead. I finished my 100th book for the year last night :-)
message 2472: by Ange (new)
Ange (bentleyrise) | 484 comments Rebecca and Nikk awesome work on all the books, I am too (because of this challenge) 12 books ahead, think I will have to up my estimate.
Finished The Burning Bridge for published in 2005.
On to start the space odyssey book for movie into book. Not really in the mood for a book like that maybe it will surprise me though ... hopefully its not a hard slog
message 2474: by ~~~N~~~ (last edited Aug 24, 2016 05:04AM) (new)
~~~N~~~ (chocolate-cannibal-bunnies) | 616 comments Just... as a warning... I'm barely reading. I have so many assignments, assigned reading (I have 11 textbooks), labs, my job, etc, etc, etc... Anyways, it doesn't seem like I have much time for the recreational lately. Please don't expect more than 3-4 books from me a week (at most), at least until I get back into the swing of things. I'm out by 7:30 and don't come home till 8 at night if I'm lucky.

I'm sorry... I wish I could give more to the challenge.

I'm happy to take on anything to help - except the movie to book goal.

Is there anything I can do?

message 2479: by Skandia (new)

Skandia (sfgirl) | 1724 comments Kimberly, I think Gillian and Kathleen said, if anybody wants to take their spots, they are welcome to do so.
As I see, it's I title or B title for example. Also, you are fast reader and I don't mind if you read my planned spot - humor genre

message 2493: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccaemma) | 85 comments I'm trying to read two "touch" books - one physical book, one audio book - to maximise my chance of finishing one quickly. Happy for someone else to read though if they want to. Will definitely be finished one by tomorrow though. Sorry I'm a slow reader :(

message 2494: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1439 comments Good plan Rebecca - that's some awesome dedication!!

message 2495: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccaemma) | 85 comments One is a non-fiction look at how the sense of touch influences our every day lives. It's actually really interesting! Have you ever wondered why they're called "feelings"? And why you say you've had a "rough" day? Or you say you're "touched" when someone does something kind... Seriously, I never would have picked this up if not for this challenge!

The other one is a vampire romance type book, haha.
