▲ Books used for sprinting MAY be completed and used in a task elsewhere within Olympic Games, (though not for cheering).

message 1142: by ~~~N~~~ (last edited Jul 03, 2016 05:04PM) (new)

~~~N~~~ (chocolate-cannibal-bunnies) | 616 comments Superhero: for Tool on Cover (Event 5, 2) and (Event 2, 1)
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland: for Animal on Cover (Event 5, 1) and 100-150 pgs (Event 2, 2)
Never Never: Part Three: for 151-200 pgs (Event 2, 1) and 100-250 pgs (Event 3, 1)
Does that work?
message 1143: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments Haha I will finish it! In addition to catching the bus home from work today so I can read I also declined lunch with a friend so I have an extra hour reading time
This book works perfectly for Event 5 (Build a Chariot) A Person (Head to Toe) on Cover as well. You need to complete a book for Event 5 so would you like to use this one?
After completing Heat 1 of Event 1 (we are waiting on me :() you can read for any event.
I can't see a tool on the cover for Superhero...but this sounds like a book that we can use for the optional coach read for Fight Club!
Well might work. Depends on the amount of fighting
message 1146: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments Alice is a no as it doesn't meet the word count requirement. It has 132 pages but it is shelved as childrens so we have to check the word count. The required word count is 25,000 but this is only around 14,000
message 1147: by Kimberly (new)
Kimberly (poweki) | 1713 comments Hi Ashley
Do books we're reading now count for other events?
I'm listening to: Never Broken: Songs Are Only Half the Story because I thought it might assist with the relay but it also has a very clear arm on it (no ruling required)
Never Broken Songs Are Only Half the Story by Jewel
message 1148: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments Not yet. You can only start once I finish my book. Unless you want to read Gone for Good and finish before me?
Anyone? I'm feeling the pressure now ahhhhh
message 1149: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments Is anyone reading a book that ends with Still?
Isn't a pencil a tool? Even if you're talking about building, they're used for measuring and such.
Too bad about Alice.
