Finally made it to the motel after family reunion so I can do a little reading. Still finishing Last Wool and Testament.

I'm not sure I'll finish my book before midnight, probably by 2. I spent too much time going back and doing some of the challenges. I started with the first one, so I was never on the one corresponding to the correct time. I've never been able to stay inside the lines :~D

I finished Murder with Ganache by Lucy Burdette earlier (reviewed on Amazon and Goodreads) and am 42% into Booked for Trouble by Eva Gates.

I read approx 430 pages today! Quite happy with that even if it left me little time for the challenges. Glad I was able to join in the reading portion of today's Readathon!

That's what I did. I prepped and started beef & barley stew in my crockpot before I started reading. It was so nice to have dinner and not have to interrupt my reading too much.

This was fun! I hardly read at all because I'm having company right now and we were out of the house much of the day. I did manage to do a few of the challenges and they were great! Thank you to all the organizers and donors and participants for this wonderful event.

I will definitely make a better effort to buy new cozies and support my favorite cozy authors by buying new books sometimes rather than buying them all second hand.

OK, stayed up later than I usually do and not only finished A Batter of Life and Death, but I made pretty good inroads into #3, On Thin Icing.

Today, I plan to finish the series, and begin another!
