Hi, Will you please combine these two editions?https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Thanks in advance.
This will be for a very strong-stomached librarian: the William Morris book The Glittering Plain has fourteen different individual listings:https://www.goodreads.com/search?q=gl...
please combine....https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

my beginners mistake as just read it and apparently made a mistake when adding this dutch edition.
Please combine these two:https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Thanks!
#219 no, they aren't the same book. The one with 270 odd pages has another story attached - its a 2 for 1 even though it has the same name.
Please combine two editions of the same book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Many thanks
Please combine; it seems to be one of the most dismembered titles on Goodreads:https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

We would first need to establish who the correct (primary) author is.
Main authors: John Peters Humphrey, René Cassin, Eleanor Roosevelt, Charles Malik & Peng-chun Chang.
From the War and Peace book page, when you click on All Editions, then Kindle format, this edition doesn't show up. Is it possible to combine this edition with all the others?https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Thanks,
Cindy

The second one misspells François, and doesn't include Wiesel as an author.

#232 Done.#224 Done!
I updated the primary author on all to "United Nations" - there are already other editions of the UDHR as by "United Nations," and the UN is obviously an author in its own right, many other publications by the UN. Also compare the Constitution of the US, author is "The Founding Fathers."
Most of the authors listed originally were illustrators/editors, etc. - I edited their role and moved them to secondary place after United Nations.
The only edition I didn't combine was the Russian one (well, there were two, but they were two editions of the same book) which actually was a children's book retelling about the UDHR. So it is its own work, therefore I did not combine it. I did, however, combine the two editions of it with each other so they are linked.
Thanks a lot, however, I would disagree a bit that it's only a children's book - in the title there's about being for children as well as for adults ;) Better argument would be a fact that there is a story behind it: http://img.labirint.ru/images/comment...
Hi Piotr :)Thanks for the added input - I can't actually read Russian, I was using Google translate. ;-) I did see that in the title it says for adults as well, but when I checked the WorldCat entry (http://www.worldcat.org/title/vseobsh...), it is listed as juvenile literature for elementary and junior high school, so I used that as a guide for the main audience. Though I know a lot of adults (myself included!) that enjoy books marketed for younger audiences. So I'm definitely right there with you. :)
I'm not sure, however, if you're saying it should be combined with the other UDHR editions because of this? The real question to determine whether it should be combined or not is:
-Is this book actually the UDHR, with the complete text, plus additional information?
OR
-Is it a book about the UDHR, maybe including text from the declaration, but not the complete text?
My understanding was that it is the second type, and therefore is its own separate work, and should not be combined as an edition of the UDHR.
Is that your understanding? If not, I'll be happy to combine it if you can provide some info showing differently.
I wish I could read the background story you linked to! I always love a good "how this came to be" story. :) If you have another link that's text instead of an image, I can use the fancy shmancy Google translate. ;-)

This book in French, Le Magicien d'Oz:https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Is showing as Oz #13, The Magic of Oz. But it isn't - it's Oz #1, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I can't find that particular edition on Amazon.fr - it seems to have been supplanted by this one:
https://www.amazon.fr/magicien-dOz-Fr...
It's also clear from the covers and the opening pages (and the date of L Frank Baum's introduction, 1900) that this is #1 rather than #13.
Can it be linked correctly? Thanks!
How do I get all my books in one place? I have 4 books. two are listed together and the other two are listed seperately. This is me: ttps://www.goodreads.com/author/show/1385421...
It says there are two editions of The Revenge of the Pumpkins (I only have one edition)
These two books are also mine:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
and:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
Lacey it would help if you linked the books.I've found 3 together so far. And a further 2 together.
Please list which books are yours so we can group them under your name. Then you can claim your author profile.
Lacey, books moved. So you know for the future, you are Lacey^^Lane where ^ = 1 space. So Lacey 2 space Lane.
Lacey, from the books you linked, I've found two author profiles:https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
To confirm, it looks like all the books except Confessions of a Stripper are yours?
If so, I will edit them appropriately.
