Now reading something hopefully less depressing than the last book. I am reading Wicked Business (Lizzy & Diesel, #2) by Janet Evanovich

Mike (mikekeating) So I finally managed to finish my reread of The Shadow Rising (Wheel of Time, #4) by Robert Jordan . When reading a thousand-page book and dealing with a move at the same time, it's going to take a while to get done. I needed something shorter next, so I began Live and Let Die (James Bond #2) by Ian Fleming .

I have moved onto reading Bloodline (Star Wars) by Claudia Gray which sadly continues the tradition of Star Wars books of the expanded universe being bad.

Mike (mikekeating) So I finished Live and Let Die (James Bond #2) by Ian Fleming and the racism permeating the whole book was nearly enough to make me give up on a book for the first time in twenty-plus years. The movie adaptation, coming in the middle of the blaxploitation craze, actually tones it down considerably. I wound up giving it two stars, the first time in ages I've rated anything less than three.

So now I'm just starting The Alloy of Law (Mistborn, #4) by Brandon Sanderson . Brandon Sanderson is an incredibly prolific writer, and it's tough keeping up with him.
