That's what I have been trying to do but I am sort of refining what I can, adding descriptions, original dates and things like that of urdu books already in the Goodreads catalogue. Once I am satisfied with that I'll surely hunt for more Urdu books to add.
I kinda feel the same , there are so many urdu books I have read or sitting in my father's shelf since ages but I couldn't find them on GR. I really appreciate it
Did you make this Ashfaq ahmed link ??There is already a author's prolife of Ashfaq Ahmed having many books of him
No Seher, it's not about making links, it's more about adding info, pics and books and then rating, reviewing, placing books under proper lists - the works basically.

Wow I didn't know such a post exists.I've been editing Urdu books / Pakistani authors since last 3 months and I believe you may have noticed some improvements.
Suggestions from fellow librarians are highly welcomed.

The same goes for so many other authors, make and female, as well as regional languages ones.
Anyone can add books but for bios and author pictures, one has to contact GR Librarians on their group to get it done.

But it would be great if other Pakistani and non-Pakistan citizens can help out. We need to put pics and bios of all the authors missing one. GR Librarians require permissions and proper authorizations so if people took up one author and got around to calling his or her publisher to get permission for adding a pic, as well as finding good bios or writing a brief one - which can then be given to GR Librarians on the link given above or any other relevant topic thread.
Also, add books on shelves and rate and review the ones you've read.
It is bad enough that great works were never translated in English to make them available to a broader audience.
