Buddy Read Schedule
I'm glad you've all found it helpful, I was getting a bit lost with everything going on! I've added the June buddy read for Fahrenheit 451 to the list.

Thank you Pink! :)
Thanks Pink! :) You are amazing!
This is really nice Pink. I love how you did this, I get so lost on here, but I'm newish still so there's my excuse. How do we sign up to join in the July read of Jane I was looking everywhere?
Melissa, Jane is a group read you don't need to sign up. Definitely confusing between group and buddy reads.
Oh thank you Brina. I'm sorry guys. I really do have a small brain. Well, it's not that it's some of my panic disorder and stuff makes it hard for me to concentrate. Some groups I'm in you have to sign up under the link if your going to read with the group but they let anyone join in, they may have done away with that sign up thing now that I think about it. :-)
is it okay if I read this edition? I was going to buy it this weekend unless they sell out.

Melissa, you can read any edition you can get your hands on! Just enjoy the book and I look forward to your comments on the threads!! :)

And you too! Glad to have you join us in the discussion. Jane Eyre is one of my favorite books.

Melissa, there's no need to sign up for anything within our group. You can participate in as much or as little as you like, just comment on the threads once they are open :) If you're getting confused with everything going on (there is quite a lot!) then this thread about how our group works might help you.
I hope you enjoy Jane Eyre too :)
Thank you Pink :-). I looked at that thread last night but it takes a bit for my brain to sort through these things :-/
Melissa wrote: "Thank you Pink :-). As you can see, there is always someone here to help you with an answer! Just ask away and enjoy Jane Eyre which is an excellent book, by the way!! :)
Melissa, welcome to the group and enjoy the wonderful camaraderie that this group possessives. When I first joined, I think I asked a million questions and everyone was more than willing to help me get through while awaiting the million and first question. You couldn't have picked a more warming, accepting group and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Also, Jane Eyre is a fabulous book. I read it way back when in high school, love, love, loved it and am currently rereading it for the group read (about 50% complete right now). I hope you like it as much as I did/do.
Again, welcome and have a great time with us - we are glad you're here. ;-)
Thank you all :-). You guys really make a person feel good and accepted. I really appreciate your kindness! I like look forward to reading many books together ❤

Thanks in advance. ;-)
If your on the computer just hold down alt and hit the 3 number. If your using phone type in this code without spaces & # 1 0 0 8 4
❤
Mine doesn't work, perhaps because I have an after market keyboard. I will have to delve into that further. But, I'm so happy that Loretta gets to put hearts everywhere. ;-)
Your welcome :-) I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you Bat-Cat. Are you holding down the alt key and hitting the number 3 at the same time?
Haha, what a lot of love above! Melissa, I echo what everyone's already said. Don't be afraid to ask questions, no matter how silly they sound. It takes a while to find your way around a new group, so continue to ask whenever you need to :)
If anyone has any more buddy reads planned, just let me know and I'll keep the first post updated.
Taking a break from my busy Friday cooking schedule to send ❤️ to all my classics friends. You can also use emoticons if using phone. So glad you're here, Melissa. I'm looking forward to Monday--- library should have book for me by then.
Pink if Dr. Zhivago doesn't win in group, I'd like to plan a buddy read for November/December to accommodate War and Peace in Sept/Oct.
Sue, copy this below and past it in a comment to see if it works.& # 1 0 0 8 4 ;
You need the semicolon. First take the spaces out from between all the numbers and symbols. Hopefully it will work.
Y'all are funny. I wonder why it don't work right for some. Never heard of the semi colon being added. Oh well, whatever you do to make them work :-)
Bat-Cat wrote: "☯ Melissa, you have created a monster!!!! Yikes - the sky's the limit!!!!"Wo oh, where did the ying/yang come from Bat-Cat? Are you holding out on me???!!! :)
Loretta these are all emoticons on a phone. You should check. For example this is my mood right now: ❤️⚾️

Not holding out on anyone. After I learned that I could do it on my computer I searched for lists of HTML codes and came up with a lot of them. Here is a link to the one I used for the Yin/Yang symbol. http://www.w3schools.com/charsets/ref...
