Buddy Read Schedule

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I've amended the buddy read schedule so the link works now and added Riders in the Chariot to the list, with a link to the discussion also.

Could you please add Like Water for Chocolate in for September?
I know it’s a long time in the future and we might try to nominate it, but we (the House of the Spirits lot) want to read it together for the Bingo challenge and we cannot schedule it earlier.

Thank you !

Didnt know that Herman Wouk died! I'm going to add War and Remembrance RIP

It's nice when that happens!

I think The House of the Spirits buddy read took place in April, but you may find someone else interested here. If not, the discussion threads stay open so you can read and add your thoughts in your own time.

Caine Mutiny is excellent. Sad to say the author has recently passed away. He wrote immensably readable books. Winds of War is one of my favorites.

Join in on The Caine Mutiny. Some people are a good way into the book already. Others, like me, haven't started.

YOU CAN DO IT!

THANK YOU!
Pink, Brina and I are interested in reading Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy by John le Carré in January 2020. Could we set up a Buddy Read for then?

THANK YOU!"

Yep, I’ll add these to the schedule :)

Added to the list. We don’t have an existing discussion thread for this book, so feel free to create your own buddy read thread when you’re ready :)

Ok, thank you!

I have to start it by today or tomorrow because It's due back to the library in 5 days!

Great Brenda! I'm going to see if I can figure out how to start a thread.

I've added a link in the first post :)

The schedule is one play per month, starting with Richard II in May and ending with Richard III in December.

P.ease join us Mark. Anyone can join in, When time is closer, Pink or one of the other mods, will set up a thread where we can talk. If you can't find us on the 8th of August, ask.

Oh, cool beans Cynda. When you starting? Are you moving this to the thread Pink suggested?

I am starting the 9th. If you post a hello comment on that thread, as soon as others start posting, you will get notifications/emails. See you there soon.

Pink, looking ahead to 2021, there are a few people so far
who would like to read the prequel to Love Medicine. Can we make that official for the Buddy Read schedule? Tracks by Louise Erdrich is the book we would like to read in Jan 2021.
