Leona (mnleona) | 156 comments A History of Murder A History of Murder (An Old Maids of Mercer Island Mystery #3) by Lynn Bohart by Lynn Bohart. A mystery but I do not consider a cozy one.

Kait Carson | 182 comments Just cracked the Kindle cover on Notorious (Max Revere, #1) by Allison Brennan Notorious. I want to read darker this year to accommodate a darker turn in my writing. I'm a huge Brennan fan and I have the series on my TBR.

message 905: by Pat (new)

Pat Cray-Hollis | 66 comments I am reading Debbie Macomber and RaeAnne Thayne Denim and Diamonds. Also I enjoy Harlequins Intrigues, Desires and Romance Suspense when I am not reading cozy.

I always have a book with me to start reading. I prefer paper over e-readers. Paperback books I can easily put in my purse but my e-reader is much bigger.

Also I like historical romances and historical fictional history. I highly recommend Phillipa Gregory the White Princess series, and Tudor series. Also if you like Diana Gabaldon the Outlander series.

My historical romances are Grace Balough all series, Victoria Alexander, Brenda Joyce the Frances Cahill Deadly series, Kat Martin, Linda Lael Miller just to name a few.

I read more mystery now then romances but once in a while I will get me a little bit of romance.

Happy Reading!

Bridget's Quiet Corner (chaptersandscreens) Taking a break from Welcome to the World, Baby Girl! and reading Mrs. Miracle. Not taking much time to read lately buy when I do, I'm enjoying it.

I didn't get a chance to pick it up today but definitely tomorrow. I'm in the mood for a creepy book and this sounds like a good one.

Kirsten (kmcripn) I finished reading Are We Smart Enough to Know How Smart Animals Are? by Frans de Waal. An excellent read. It's very readable and it gave some very interesting examples of animal cognition.

Rowling Thinking about listening to another book while listening to this one to give myself a break from this one as needed/if needed. Thankfully I do have the audio book for this one. Hopefully I can listen while on the computer or doing other things and it won't take as long to get through this 870 page book. :-)
