Now that our read for June 2016 has been decided, it's time for everyone to nominate a book for our July read.

Nominate from our genres - a STAND ALONE which has been on your TBR for 2+ years! Alternatively (if you don't have one over 2 years) choose the oldest you have on your TBR

I don't have any that old either. I go through and delete them every few months, usually because they are too expensive or too hard to get and I just lose interest.

I see that part of my problem is that I don't usually mark them any particular genre until I have read them. I might try to fix it :)

I always add genre - I forget just by looking at the title - I also do a lot of challenges so need to track my genres.

Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes.
It has a GR rating of 4.09 and is described as a stunning debut, intense, gripping and unputdownable.

This may not be eligible as it's not listed on Goodreads in my tbr list but has been sitting on my bookshelf of paperbacks for more than 2y. Most of my 2.5y old GR tbr list seem to be part of series.

Like some others, I have only recent ones on my list (except for Gone Girl, but I bet you've all read it already.

So I'd like to add a plug for any Michael Robotham, because I keep meaning to read more of his, but I read my first one only last year. And he's a solid Aussie writer, to boot!

Here is a a book that has been on my tbr since February 2015. It is set in Iceland with murders connected to a historical manuscript. Reviews are a bit mixed.

I'm happy with Bombproof, unless you mean another nomination. But I guess the book would have to be at least 2 years old, right?
