Mostly books on my current shelf that I keep putting off... NEED.to.FINISH.
3: What WOBBLE challenge are you looking forward to most?Can I pick two? I can't decide between Battleship and Olympic games!
4: Tell us FOUR fun random facts about you!
a. I love anything dairy: milk, whip cream, yogurt, cheese, cheesecake... anything that has a whiff of dairy in it!
b. I'm scared of roller coasters... this one time I accidentally rode one (the mummy ride in Universal Studios) thinking it was just another 3D ride. So read the signs before getting inside a ride people!
c. I hate raisins. I can''t eat them.
d. I love collecting NatGeo mags but not really reading all of them.

2: What book(s) do you hope to finish during this read-a-thon?
I decided yesterday that I want to do all (or mostly) NetGalley Books. I plan on doing the W4W Task so my books will start with W,O,B,B,L,E and be from NetGalley. I have all of them, except O, so that will be a random book and the other 5 my NetGalley books.

4: Tell us FOUR fun random facts about you!
➜ I LOVE Roller Coasters. :) I actually got scared as a child on one that was really rough and didn't ride them again until H.S. when 2 friends got me to go on them at Busch Gardens. They started me out slow and worked my way up and I became SUCH a fan. I've been on coasters all around the U.S. and picking a favorite coaster (do you mean wooden, standup, looping, laydown, hyper, giga.....) is harder than picking a favorite book (The Night Circus) for me.
➜ I'm addicted to Nautilus Live and watch it daily now that they are back in season. Bummed that they are in a bad weather system right now. It's a ship associated with Robert Ballard and is so fun to watch. Fell in love with the Dumbo Octopus when I first saw one last year.
➜ My Hubby and I have an adorable love story. :) We met in H.S. and were best friends until I broke His heart by not being IN love with Him when He was in love with me. We didn't see each other for over 7 years and then I found Him and we've been together ever since. Known each other over 23 years, been "back" together over 11 years and been married 9 years.
➜ I've been having a ton of fun working on Wobble with the other mods. The things I have been doing have been keeping me busy but have also been enjoyable for me. I'm really hoping everyone loves Wobble as much as I do. :)
Kathleen ~I LOVE "The Mummy". It's my FAVORITE movie and one of my favorite rides at Universal. Not the best coaster by far (I'm a coaster nut) but just because I love the movie so much and all the other stuff in the ride makes it great! :)
I'm sorry you had to find out when you were on it what it was. I can imagine it was quite scary for you.

Portugal. It's sunny out there, 29ºC, blue sky... the beach is calling my name, sadly I need to be at work

I'm one book away from the 80% feedback at NetGalley - unless they approve my two current pending ones - and I also have a few books started and the BOM will start on the 22... so, on my list to finish are: (only possibilities because I have to be all alone, with lots of caffeeine and sugar at hand, and also food to be able to read so much in four days)

1. I love playing buzz and singstar for playstation. Buzz I manage okay, but I suck at singing, but I just loooooove them. Specially with Eni... I need to replace mics to be back to the fun
2. Sometimes my lunch breaks seem like a Big Bang Theory episode. Last time we were discussing how a IT guy at Hogwarts made sense with Harry Potter books
3. I usually tell people I'm shy. Which I totally believe... till my inner chatterbox comes out and play.
4. I love to giggle. And laugh. Till tears. Which happens a LOT

I'm currently at home in New York, listening to an audiobook while I'm trying to clean the house before I run out to an eye dr appointment.

- Right now I am reading Small Favor by Jim Butcher. I am pretty sure I will get through this. Next on my list is Life After Life by Kate Atkinson.

- The Wheel-A-Thon. I have played this one before and had a blast.

All of my currently reading and to-read books. I also want to fill all, or at least most, of my bucketlist during this challenge.

Battleship and Olympics! Im working, but I'll make sure to catch up with the challenges. I am also excited to have new friends!

I just moved and got a new library card a few days ago, and I might have gone a little bit crazy visiting the new library for the first time... So I have a big stack of books to read.
3: What WOBBLE challenge are you looking forward to most?
Maybe Battleship or Wheelathon.
4: Tell us FOUR fun random facts about you!
- I hate roller coasters.
- I love cheese (and all other things dairy).
- I'm allergic to band aid adhesives.
- I don't eat purple vegetables.

At home in Virginia. Plan to listen to my book in the car on the way to a doctor's appointment.
2: What book(s) do you hope to finish during this read-a-thon?
I hope to read two - well, read one and listen to one. I want to read Stars Above just because I love the series and will put it off forever without a 'reason' to read it. I also plan to listen to Murder at the Vicarage, which is a BOM in another group. I am also hoping to finish a NetGalley book, which I already started for the NetGalley challenge. I'm still working my way back up to 80%.
3: What WOBBLE challenge are you looking forward to most?
I'm not sure I will be able to participate in the challenge this time. :( I really want to. The whole thing looks fun, but I have a lot of stuff coming up in real life that may interfere with my ability to read a lot. I'd hate to sign up and not be able to fully participate. I'm still thinking it through.
4: Tell us FOUR fun random facts about you!
1. I love to cook and have more cookbooks than I will probably ever use. I collect them just as much as I do other books.
2. I am a bit of an action enthusiast. I get bored fairly easily and love to spend time kayaking, white water rafting, zip lining and have even been skydiving. I plan to go hang gliding this weekend.
3. I have 2 daughters, both in their 20s, and a grandson that will be 7 this summer. I love them all to bits, but they don't live near me any more, so I don't see them nearly as much as I want to.
4. I hardly ever watch TV. I don't have any TV shows that I keep up with any more. So, if you love it, I've probably never seen it. (Game of Thrones, Modern Family....nope) I'm so out of that loop.

I have a great pic of my younger daughter on that ride from a few years ago. I die laughing every time I see it. The timing for the pic was slightly off. So, everyone is looking to the left and she is clearly the only one looking forward where she is supposed to. She has a look of absolute terror on her face. Everyone else hasn't noticed whatever she is looking at yet, so we're all semi-smiling, except her. Poor girl. She claims that she wasn't that terrified, but the pic caught her at just the right moment.

A lot of books that have been sitting on my TBR list for forever, heh. This challenge is going to help me finish my "Cleaning Out the Closet" challenge, hopefully!

The Olympics, I think. It sounds like a lot of fun!

- I have an unhealthy obsession for the Broadway show Hamilton: An American Musical. Seriously, it's bad.
- I love animals of all kinds, insects included! My husband has had to stop me from approaching snakes/raccoons/assorted wildlife when we go on hikes. I'm not gonna touch them, I just want to get closer!
- I'm a super picky eater. I don't like my food to touch, I don't like most vegetables, and it's like pulling teeth to get me to try something out of my comfort zone. I do, however, like to put jelly on my grilled cheese sandwiches. Go figure.
- I love the sun. If I could just be out in the sun all day long, I would be a happy girl. My husband, however, hates the sun. It's going to be interesting when we eventually have to pick somewhere to retire, haha.

1. well I am originally from Atlanta, GA so I have a passion for collecting anything Gone with the Wind....the book is my favorite all time read & I love the movie.

I'm hoping very much to finish the Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter. It's currently 10 books long plus shorts. I'm currently on book #8, Broken Soul.

All of them! I only joined NBRC in time to participate first in the TTIV and now in the Around the World team challenges. I've never participated in any of the W.O.B.B.L.E. challenges, so I'm just excited to try them all. :-)

1) I read mostly at night, when my puppy is asleep and so doesn't require my attention. ;-)
2) My puppy-son just turned three on Tuesday! :-) And he's still not fully mature. *sigh* lol ;-)
3) I despise going to the dentist's, because they always tell me I should floss and I never have flossed and never will. Last time I went was maybe two years ago. I called ahead of time to ask that they NOT harp on flossing. But what did they do when I got in there? Told me I should floss! *grrr* I haven't been back. lol (Only reason I went in that last time was because a chip of tooth broke.)
4) I usually only see daylight morning hours if I read past dawn. My son is good about letting me sleep late. ;-)

I spent about $450 on birthday treats and food and toys for his third birthday this month. And $450 is almost a third of my fixed monthly income! ;-)

I really want to start a BookTube, like really badly.

this series is my latest guilty pleasure. Thanks to NBRC last year I was introduced to Elly Griffiths and have her latest #8 to read.
I have 2 other books to pick for a challenge but not sure what yet.

1) I like to read whenever possible and I will have two copies of the book if possible e-reader and DT version just so I wont miss a chance to read. I have even ventured into audiobooks.
2)I love the smell of books, opening a book and just taking a deep breath.

- When a book is really good, I tend to read more rapidly to know even sooner what's coming (as If I could skip pages to know the punch haha)

I'm a speed reader in general, but when the book is good, I just go for the first sentence in each paragraph and then skim. Sometimes though, when it's taking me too long to get to the point I voluntarily spoil myself, because I'm just not a patient person. :/

I have no idea! I've never done a team challenge, and all my individual challenges that I'm currently doing are nothing like this. Very laid back and go at your own pace. So I'm excited for the whole thing! And to really push myself with my reading.

*I just got my real estate license! (Well, it's pending. But it should be fully active in a couple weeks.)
*I'm a beach girl through-and-through. I grew up on the Georgia coast, and every day I yearn to get back to coastal living.

It's one of my faves, but I always slow waaaay down at the end. Getting through the last 100 pages or so is always a struggle. Also -

1. I'm currently creating a balcony veggie garden without buying any pots - I'm trying to find as many containers as possible from stuff I already own or by raiding the recycling bin. This is beginning to take a toll on my significant other ("really? the empty ice cream container?"), but I'm finding it really fun.
2. When I really like a book, I pass it on to family and friends. When I really LOVE a book, I keep it (and buy copies for people I love.)
3. I went surfing for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was in Nova Scotia, and the ocean was 4*C. We had to wear wet suits. I loved every second.
4. I teach dance to very small children, and I absolutely love the chaos. I think sometimes they're easier to deal with than the adults.

- I am currently working on a bucket list item to read 5,000 books before I die and my husband made me a special excel sheet to keep track of it.
- I also review movies about as much as I read books... almost...
- I fell off of a cannon once.... it really hurt... I had to call in sick for work that day XD
- I was hit by car on my way to school when I was nine. The driver was an off duty paramedic.

I have a year goal to read my whole to-read list. Which isn't achieveable as I constantly add to my TBR but I would like to reach at least 219 as that was what my TBR started at this year. So hopefully I can read my top ten TBR books during this challenge.

2. My boyfriend and myself do constant voice overs for the dog. And we're pretty sure she agrees with everything we say for her...

I love, love, love to read and now I work part time so I have more time for it.
I also love watching movies
We live right by Lake Michigan so I love walking along the lake watching all the sailboats.

- I'm a Brazilian who don't like football.
- I love sweet things, some days I'd gladly change my lunch for a plate full of 'brigadeiro' (a Brazilian sweet).
- I read my mother's whole collection of Agatha Christie mysteries when I was a teen.
- May 23th is my due date!! Really hoping that the baby decides to come sooner rather than later.

1.I spend all summer sitting out in a field listening to books. I also pick beans during my "reading" time. My husband and I own a market garden farm, growing vegetables and selling them at the local farmer's market
2. I'm good enough at tongue twisters to impress a group of 12 year olds.
3. When I was 7 my mother read the whole Lord of the Rings to me over a summer.
4. I love zombie/dystopian/Post Apocalyptic books, but I'm getting tired of Young adult ones. I have nothing against Young adult, I enjoy reading them, but I really wish there were more in this genre that featured grown ups.

1. I am 20 weeks pregnant (due October 5) with my first bio child!! Got to see the baby in a LONG ultrasound yesterday, which was incredible!
2. Just celebrated my 7th wedding anniversary.
3. I'm knitting a family of monsters.
4. I run a library and enjoy scotch-taping picture books when I need a breather.

@ all you roller coaster fans. I grew up 30 min away from Cedar Point. I've ridden all the coasters there except for the brand new ones. My favorite is the Magnum.

•I have been a registered nurse for...quickly does the math...9 years!!! I've worked in Emergency Medicine for the last 7 years. I like that you never know what's going to roll through the doors and every day is different.
•My husband and I love to go to the cinema. We probably go see movies at the theater 4-5 times per month. I would even go see a bad movie as long as I have a big tub of popcorn in my lap.
•I am a diet coke fiend.
•We have a 1 year old rescue pit bill, Sasha. We love to spoil her!

I am reading Arthur & George on Audio and The Song of Achilles. I hope to finish both although the audio book is really long

I have done Bingo & wheelathon before labours reminds me a little of Tower teams so I think Olympics

a. I love walking but on my first higher level walk we had to be rescued by mountain rescue as we had got onto the course of a frozen waterfall
b. I volunteer for the National Trust in a lovely tea rooms at what was the home of Noel Terry of Terry's chocolate orange fame. The National trust preserves historic buildings for those who are not british.
c. I once bungey jumped off Auckland Harbour bridge and have been white water rafting in both Australia and New Zealand.
d. I have had 3 professional articles published in nursing journals
