Amanda (deeplydippy) | 11 comments Hi there

I have been searching for this book for the last 15 years. I hve tried all the various resources I can find but to no avail.

I originally got this book about 22 years ago, from one of those boxes that gets delivered to business receptions for people to order various items from in the box (this happens in the UK, not sure elsewhere).

I had hoped to find a copy to give to my son on his 18th, then 21st, and now I'm hoping 25th birthday. From reading that book he started calling me momma bear, still does, and even his close friends all call me it too!

It was a large book, height about A4, but wider, hard backed. It had a button the child could press to hear the momma bear's voice.

It's basically about a baby bear who has to go to bed, but keeps seeing or hearing things then his mum comes in and explains what it is, then tells him to go back to sleep - like seeing a monster in the room only to be shadows from the tree outside his room, or hearing whispers only to be the wind in the trees.

I have seen other books very similar, but none with a button to press, and that's the primary thing I'm looking for, it has to have the button, with the momma bear talking to her baby bear.

I would really appreciate any help you can give on this one please.

Here's another ad page: http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookD...

I didn't see this on goodreads (The Little Bear's Bedtime I found here is a different book)
