Darcy (sunnytat462) | 3123 comments I really like how Jane has changed over the series, how she had built a family of oddballs around her, ones who accept her as she is.

message 3: by Dawn, Desperately seeking new worlds (new)

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I read Skinwalker and really liked it not sure why I never read another one. I ordered Blood Cross from the library.

MadameZelda Same here. I've read the first two books, but I didn't binge on Jane Yellowrock. It could be I have so many cherries on my plate, including so many books I want to read.

I'm still working my way through the series but I will agree, I don't think Ricky is that great.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 3123 comments I'm on Team Bruiser too!

MadameZelda I finished book 3. Ricky Bo is married to his job. But Bruiser is "married" to Leo.

Nope, not anymore - I have read them all. He loves his Jane.

message 14: by Kristen (last edited May 15, 2016 08:19AM) (new)

Kristen | 29 comments Bruiser is okay, but even with a new status I don't think he is strong enough and challenges Jane in the ways she needs to be challenged or keeps her on her toes. I've read them all and I have a whole list of reasons from the book, Bruiser isn't a good match for Jane, but he's okay for now. At least in my opinion, personally I like Leo really like Leo even through the many partners and secrets, which can be said of all the characters around Jane, or nearly so. But I don't want to spoil anything.

Also, I always hated Ricky Bo, it was almost a weakness on Jane's part she was with him, knew him and what he was, but didn't really want to acknowledge it, then surprise...though part of that's still a mystery.

message 15: by MadameZelda (new)

MadameZelda After reading Book 1, I thought Jane would hook up with Leo. But after reading Book 3, I am seeing it's between Ricky Bo and Bruiser.

message 16: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 3123 comments When the Younger brothers showed up I hoped for a Eli and Jane match, but now it's been too long, they have sibling relationship.

message 17: by Anne (new)

Anne | 318 comments I have always wanted her with Bruiser. He has always loved her - even while being under Leo's control.

Rick is too self-centered and a complete jerk.

Leo is just plain crazy and way over the top.

message 18: by Kristen (new)

Kristen | 29 comments With Bruiser it always seemed more instant sexual attraction than love to me, and if it was/is love he hasn't always shown it, opposite in fact but I'm hard to convince, until the most recent book which showed more....but that's true of many characters. And I too has hoped for a Jane an Eli match but yea quickly saw it was never gonna happen.

message 19: by Anne (new)

Anne | 318 comments He loved her, but was controlled by Leo - I always will be Team Bruiser.

I never saw Eli as a love interest for Jane.

Beast wants Leo.

message 20: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Beast wants nearly everyone. LOL

message 22: by Anne (new)

Anne | 318 comments When you are finished with Jane Yellowrock, Faith Hunter has a new series that is an off shoot of Jane's about Nell Ingram (she is introduced in a short story in Off the Grid). The book is called Blood of the Earth.
