Oh wow! That's a great deal! I checked to see if the others in the series were on sale but no luck. So far I've resisted getting them from Netgalley even though I have the handy dandy read now links.
I hope you like it!
I just wrote what will probably be my last review for May - started the month at 90% and ended it at 88%. I'll take it! Too early to post the review but you guys will be seeing it before too long. :)
Madeline {Plan to Happy} wrote: "I'm at 65% now, though if I review a few catalogs I can get it back up pretty easily (I hope). ."I've been enjoying samplers as way to get to 80%, too! Best of luck with your climb. ;)
Madeline - I was looking at Goldfish too, but have been trying not to add
I have been strict about reading them in order of publication date, so it will be awhile before I get to the Goldfish! (I have also been strict about immediately downloading them.) I'm just about caught up to May 3!

Of course, clearing them would really help with my ratio as well. Hmm, maybe you have a point ;-)
Updated message 14I am happy to have increased my feedback ratio. I read 4 fantasy novels and I had mixed reactions with ratings of 2-4. So far loving this kick in the butt to keep me motivated to read some of these books.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...Another one bites the dust! I feel like it is taking me forever though. Currently reading The Dream Killer of Paris. Unfortunately I requested more books. I have an addiction.

Unfortunately it was already archived (don't request a book 3 days before the archive date) but I finally posted my review of Summer Days & Summer Nights: Twelve Love Stories which I really enjoyed. I'm now up to 70%. Here's hoping the 4 books I've requested don't come through tomorrow as they'll kill my ratio :)

"Alison, that's still a very good, thoughtful review. I'm sure the publishers appreciate it as helpful even when it's not very flattering.

That concept sounds so good. Too bad it was disappointing.
Amanda wrote: "Three more books read! Now I just have to write the reviews. That's always the most difficult part for me. :)This challenge is helping me so much. I used to think I'd never get all of my Netgalle..."
I agree. It's good to be among like-minded people who get bogged down in NetGalley and need a push to get the reviews done.
This weekend I finished and reviewed 4 cookbooks, none of which were on my shelf at the start of the month.
I pretty much bombed this month. I read two books and added two books. My percentage only went up from 72% to 73%, but at least it went up. I have a lot more planned for June, so hopefully that one will be better. I'm still hoping to finish one tonight, but if not it will be added to next month's list.original post
I added 3 this month, but read 4 which is absolutely a record for me!!
End of Month:
Books on shelf: 5
Feedback Ratio: 91%

Oh and seeing that it is June 1 for me, I've opened the June NetGalley thread:

Okay, phew. After finally reviewing three catalogs and an excerpt, I improved my percentage from May with one measly percentage point. From 68 to 69 percent, with reviews submitted for Fever at Dawn
Jane Steele
Eligible
Will You Won't You Want Me?
The Lie Tree
Five's not bad! Plus two Buzz Books catalogs, a cookbook publisher catalog, and an excerpt of Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here. (I got the book in a subscription box, so read the whole thing, too!).
Not too shabby, right?
MayOn shelf May 1-19

I need to catchup with my reviews and not add any more I'm still happy with getting 7 reviews done eventhough I didn't increase my Feedback ratio. I'm halfway through
so that will be my first review for June.

Promptly ruined my percentage by adding another three books. Sigh. I added:
I'm at 65% now, though if I review a few catalogs I can get it back up pretty easily (I hope).
