SOLVED. YA Book about boys in a gang [s]

So I read this book in high school (2008-2011). I remember the main character's name was Baby and he had an older brother. It was about a group of boys who did a lot of reading. They were incredibly smart but didn't do any work (and if I remember correctly barely spoke) in school. They were in a gang, but I don't remember the name of it. I think their rival gang was called the Decepticons (but this book has nothing to do with Transformers). I think they took an aptitude test which is when the school realized how smart they were.
