Tamara Agha-Jaffar | 425 comments Hi Everyone,
My novel, Unsung Odysseys, based on Homer's Odyssey, tells the story of Odysseus' return home to Ithaca through the voices of the women involved in his journey. I thought it was time we heard women's voices. I'm getting ready to release the novel on Amazon Kindle in January 2017. Meanwhile, I have posted an excerpt of Chapter 1 on my website

I know I've posted before, but want to let you know that my blog www.WayneTurmel.com is both a shameless pitch for my own work, AND a chance for me to interview other Historical Fiction authors about their work. If you have an HF novel (particularly about an under-written period of time or character), drop me a line and see if we can set up an interview.

Tamara Agha-Jaffar | 425 comments My novel, Unsung Odysseys by Tamara Agha-Jaffar Unsung Odysseys is now available on Amazon Kindle. Based on Homer's Odyssey, the story is told by the women caught up in Odysseus’ ten-year journey home from Troy. Each female speaks directly to the reader in her own voice, describing her encounter with and feelings toward Odysseus. The narrative progresses with each character picking up the thread where the previous character left off.

The work will appeal to readers interested in mythology and in the re-telling of ancient myths. The characters interact with each other on a human level and are easily relatable. They have a story to tell, and although their stories are mythological, their perspectives and reactions to events are timeless.

On the night of her sixteenth birthday and before her father has the chance to force her to marry a complete stranger, Princess Margaret sneaks away from the riches and safety of the palace. Torn between her fate and freedom, Princess Margaret desperately goes looking for her mother as the answer. In a quest of soul searching and physical hardships, the twist of events may take the readers by surprise, instilling a piece of the story in their hearts.

Brian D Howard | 4 comments My superhero novel comes out March 9th!

Simon Rising is the story of Steve Ambrose, a bank robber who is shot while being arrested and wakes up in the hospital with no memories, but with telekinetic powers. Hunted by the law and his criminal past he must discover if he can change who he is, or if the dark person everyone accuses him of being is too deeply a part of his nature to escape from.
