Hello Fellow Writers and Book Lovers--I invite you to visit my website at http://patspencer.net. I published Story of a Stolen Girl in 1918. It has been well received, so I have been working on two other books on completely different topics since then. Hope to finish both by the end of this summer.
I would love to receive your comments on Story of a Stolen Girl. I hope to increase the number of reviews before publishing my next two novels. People are so busy. They often read and say they love the book, but carving out time to post on Amazon or Goodreads is often difficult. So if you have the time and interest, I would be greatly appreciative.

Hello,Right now, I am currently in the midst of rewriting my entire website to be responsive(to different screen sizes), i.e. with responsive CSS grid. A week from now, or less, it will have a completely different look and be much more compatible with tablets and phones. Wish me luck?!

michaelsbookcorner.com may sound like a website for pipe smokers with patches on the elbows of their sweaters, but it is a website for old-fashioned adventurous sci-fi. In the words of early reviews, Michael Scharen's writing is in the same vein as Robert Heinlein, Arthur C. Clarke, and Kim Stanley Robinson.These are not dreary dystopian tomes which make one want to end it all right now. These are books where folks who value their liberties join in the struggle, stop talking about freedom and start living it. We cannot be free if we act like slaves.
Presently there are five books available which take place in two time frames approximately a century apart. All books are for sale, available in .epub, .mobi, or audio format.
Of course there is also a blog featuring commentary by the author on subjects ranging beyond the books for sale, or the writing process.

My novel - First Second Coming - was nominated in April as a candidate to win the RONE Award for fantasy, and it also received a Gold Award for writing excellence from Literary Titan magazine in November, just three months after publication.
