Not my favorite era…men in high-heels and powered wigs. Glad George’s hair is described as unpowered. Thank the Dear Lord.."
I always ignore these descriptions and just imagine them with unpowdered hair and no wigs. I do the same with Elizabeth Hoyt's books and pull out my magic scissors with heroes who have long hair, lol!

1. So Billie Bridgerton is Edmond’s oldest sister. I can’t get him and his tragic end out of my mind whenever he’s mentioned in the book. Can you?
To be honest, it's been like... years and years and years since I read any of the other Bridgerton books, and aside from The Duke and I, I barely remember a single thing about any of them. That one only because I read it twice. Still a long time ago, though, lol. So Edmond is Daphne and co's father yea? Sad, I do remember that, and the one son being like paranoid he was going to die young too, but really I don't recall much else about it... :( But I do agree it's odd reading about a character that you know is going to die.
2. What do you think of Billie so far, what do you think of the start of the romance? They seem to be the opposite of each other and not match socially (which is unexpected because of the close families ), does this make the start of attraction more believable or less? (view spoiler)
I like them both so far, and I think they are developing along believably. It's entertaining how they've always antagonized each other until one day they just... don't anymore. If that makes sense, lol.
3. What do you think of George? Typical HR hero? One of his comments has stuck in my head ,it went something like this:
B:“do you want me on your back?”
G:”Believe me that’s not where I want to have you!”
My mind supplied me with “I want you underneath me” instead lol
Lol, he's fine so far. I like how he's rather nice, and, well, normal, and not some dark, broody, mysterious hero that the ton whispers about and all. Every once in awhile it's nice to see a normal guy in romance, lol. He's not exactly, like, sparking me with fire or anything, but I like him.
4. I’m trying to sort out their ages. George is 27 , Billie is 23 , Mary is 23 , Andrew is 22 , Edward is 24. I don’t think I’m right though , George said he was 5 years older than his younger siblings. So ?
Sure, sounds about right-ish to me, maybe. :p
5. George is expecting Billie to marry Andrew and she’s always thought she would marry either Edward or Andrew. Which is weird since she doesn’t have a preference. Does George think that she’s attracted to his brother or is he just assuming? What I find more interesting was Andrew’s reaction to these 2 talking and murmuring. What so you think? Is he going to do some matchmaking or just the opposite?
I think he's just assuming maybe. I do agree it's funny how everyone has noticed the sudden, odd change in how Billie and George are getting along, everyone but them, lol.
6. What do you think of the era? Have you read many books in this era? It’s 1779 and according to Wikipedia the Georgian era , powdered hair and such ….
I've been working my way through the Malloren series by Jo Beverley the last few months, so I've already been hanging out in this period mentally, albeit they're more around the 1750's or 60's I think, but hey, close enough. It doesn't bother me much, my mind usually makes up its own images anyways regardless of the book's descriptions, so I'm not necessarily picturing em in heels and wigs even if I should be, lol.
7. I’m a bit surprised by Billie’s relationship with her younger sister. In these sort of books siblings usually have a very good and close bond. What do you think?
They'll probably get friendlier as the book goes on, I see potential. Georgiana is pretty young still.
8. The house party … what do you think will happen? Are they going realise they are attracted to each because of jealousy or are they going to pretend they like each other to fend off unwanted attention and fall in love in the process? It has to be one of these 2 , right?
Probably right. I think it'll be more like they're being nice to each other and it will turn into more.

#1. I've read the books ages ago but his death because of a bee sting is stuck in my head!
#2.It does.
#3.LOL
#6.The series doesn't sound familiar , I have to check them out.

9. So, is Andrew totally OCD, or just with card building or architecture? Either way, I’m looking forward to his book. LOL! You?
10. What did you think of the scolding? The “almost kiss”? George’s wanting? His “light-headedness”? Wonder where all the blood rushed? LOL!
11. Billy caught someone’s dress on fire? That sounds like an interesting story. Thoughts?
12. Well, we knew that house of cards was going down… in more ways than one. LOL!
13. Do you like Mary’s honesty with Billy? And visa versa? Mary’s anger about which brother she should marry? Their little “fight”?
14. I love that George didn’t get assigned to the “fun” side of the dinner table. What did you think of that scene? Of Lady Alexandra?
15. Oh! I thought George’s dream was going to end up being a “wet” one. I was surprised JQ would go there. You?
16. Pall Mall! Yay! Love that George was concerned about Sir Reggie teeth! LMBO! And The Mallet of Death makes an appearance. **hee hee** What was your favorite part of the game?
17. Edward! Did you feel for George’s frustration? For all the privileges, his station and responsibility can certainly be a type of prison; certainly not conducive to someone with a bit of wanderlust. Do you think George will go looking for Edward? Comments.
18. Eeep! What a place to stop. Did you read on to find out about that kiss?

#2 – Yes, it makes sense. Very believable characters, mainly due, I think, to their dialogues.
#3 – I like a nice Beta every now and then. Don’t know why I ended up marrying two Alphas.
#5 – Yes, cute.
#7 –Might come into play more in her book.

9. So, is Andrew totally OCD, or just with card building or architecture? Either way, I’m looking forward to his book. LOL! You?
I didn't get the OCD vibe from him , I think he was just bored and liked to make things. Yes I think he's fun character at least so far so I'm hoping for a fun book for him
10. What did you think of the scolding? The “almost kiss”? George’s wanting? His “light-headedness”? Wonder where all the blood rushed? LOL!
lol no I have no idea! where?:D
11. Billy caught someone’s dress on fire? That sounds like an interesting story. Thoughts?
It was , she just had some bad luck, good thing nobody found out it was her fault
12. Well, we knew that house of cards was going down… in more ways than one. LOL! What did you think of that kiss?
Loved their first kiss
14. I love that George didn’t get assigned to the “fun” side of the dinner table. What did you think of that scene? Of Lady Alexandra?
Are they in a threesome the 2 sisters and the fiance? it sure sounded like they were!
Poor George he had the worst sit but funny scenes
16. Pall Mall! Yay! Love that George was concerned about Sir Reggie teeth! LMBO! And The Mallet of Death makes an appearance. **hee hee** What was your favorite part of the game?
I loled every time he brought up Sir Reggie's teeth, he was so fixated on him and Billy's reactions to his French, it was funny! my favorite part was their discussion about the cross and how position the playing field
17. Edward! Did you feel for George’s frustration? For all the privileges, his station and responsibility can certainly be a type of prison; certainly not conducive to someone with a bit of wanderlust. Do you think George will go looking for Edward? Comments.
No I didn't think he would, he would be away from Billy and that wouldn't do at all . I understand the frustration very well though
18. Eeep! What a place to stop. Did you read on to find out about that kiss?
hheehee I debated whether to stop or not but well I had to know so I listened ....:P

#9 - Oh, I think he's definitely OCD. We'll see.
#10 - **chuckles devilishly**
#12 - Oh! Meant to cut that last... as their first kiss comes at the end of chapter 16, right?
#18 - Ha! Ditto.

#12 - Oh! Meant to cut that last... as their first kiss comes at the end of chapter 16, right?
"
Yes I wonders why you had it there!

Jumping ahead in my mind. I thought I zapped it.. but I guess I did it here, then when and corrected something else in my Word program.. and missed it there. I zapped it now. :o)

9. So, is Andrew totally OCD, or just with card building or architecture? Either way, I’m looking forward to his book. LOL! You?
I thought it was funny how he was so serious and focused on it. I'm looking forward to his book too, I like him a lot so far.
10. What did you think of the scolding? The “almost kiss”? George’s wanting? His “light-headedness”? Wonder where all the blood rushed? LOL!
I was grinning like mad through that scene. He was just so thunderstruck. And the chase, this story has me smiling a lot.
11. Billy caught someone’s dress on fire? That sounds like an interesting story. Thoughts?
Oh yes, I'm sure with Billie, it had to be interesting! Girl just can't help it, lol.
12. Well, we knew that house of cards was going down… in more ways than one. LOL!
Lol, for sure! Knew it was going to happen sooner or later...
13. Do you like Mary’s honesty with Billy? And visa versa? Mary’s anger about which brother she should marry? Their little “fight”?
I like the friendship very much despite what little has been shown of it so far. I thought their honesty suited fine, especially for Billie as that's just how she is.
14. I love that George didn’t get assigned to the “fun” side of the dinner table. What did you think of that scene? Of Lady Alexandra?
Again I was laughing, especially once George got started with his observations, his inserts into the conversation. And totally what is with the girls and Lord Northie? One, ok, but both of em... odd! Lol. Perhaps though she will show up again later in the series...
15. Oh! I thought George’s dream was going to end up being a “wet” one. I was surprised JQ would go there. You?
Lol! It was a bit steamier than I'd been expecting, but I don't mind ;) It seemed to fit nicely with his personality and stuff though, I thought.
16. Pall Mall! Yay! Love that George was concerned about Sir Reggie teeth! LMBO! And The Mallet of Death makes an appearance. **hee hee** What was your favorite part of the game?
Another scene that had me chuckling. Between Billie and Andrew's rivalry, and George's thoughts on it, and Billie and her comments about and to Lady Alexandra, and Georgiana catching it all, but being nice and so excited about being allowed to play. Loved it.
17. Edward! Did you feel for George’s frustration? For all the privileges, his station and responsibility can certainly be a type of prison; certainly not conducive to someone with a bit of wanderlust. Do you think George will go looking for Edward? Comments.
I don't think he'll actually go, but he will find something he can do to try to feel useful I think. I am interested in Edward though, if he turns out to be alive, I think his story could be pretty interesting!
18. Eeep! What a place to stop. Did you read on to find out about that kiss?
Yea, wow! Niiiiice. George getting all, 'I'ma take what I want! Growl!' Lol. Very, very interesting... Ha!

#9 – Me, too! LOL!
#10 – Yes! I had a big grin on my face though most of this book, too. LOL!
#14 – I know! LOL! His thoughts and quips at the dinner were some of the most memorable of the book.
#15 – Yes, his thoughts still seemed like his.
#16 – Yes, I thought it was well done. LOL!
#17 – Oh, yes! Especially if he goes to American – and falls in love with one!! Something a bit different.
#18 – LMBO!
#1. Aaaww yes beautiful image and bittersweet!
#2. Yes the age difference plays a big part in their lack of brotherly sisterly feeling.
#5.I was hoping for Andrew to do some matchmaking!
#6.LOL It must have looked sexy to the women in that era, don't you think so?
