Yeah any pages read in May count you just subtract from the total what you read before May
You can only count the pages you read in May, so say you got up to page 200 in April and the book is 600 pages, you can only count 400 pages.I'm glad you reminded me of this, because I'm not going to finish my book tonight, so I'm glad my pages will now still count :-)

Wait. So Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is, what, like 100 pages? And what about A Monster Calls? That'd be much fewer pages than it actually is.So what if I read the non-illustrated copies? They're combined here on Goodreads, so which pagecount would be the right one? And isn't it possible to just use the pagecounts for the non-illustrated versions in general? For books that have those obviously :)
One but thing, how does it work with remaining pages from books already started? Say I read 100 pages to finish a book - so I need to write four updates for those pages, or is one enough, if I've already written three based on the first pages? I hope you know what I mean :))

The problem is that we can't tell how many illustrations there are, so unless there is specifically an edition which states that it has no illustrations, it's difficult for us to estimate how many pages there are.
Just 4 status updates or a review is fine, it doesn't need to be 4 status updates for the last 100 pages ☺
Just wanted to know, how are you calculating the totals with the decimals?
